Dishonored remains one of the best stealth games of the last generation. The main story along with the inclusion of all of the add-ons can offer up to 30 hours of utterly satisfying gameplay. Combined with the improved visuals, the city of Dunwall deserves everyone’s attention.

It’s a pristine release that’s being saved from fading into history with this re-release and delivers all the content as a thank you. For the double dippers considering this, a stern word of caution. Very little has changed since you left Dunwall but if you really get a kick out of your controller talking to you then by all means, go in for the kill.

Some problems with AI, story direction and character development still exist. But nonetheless this is beautifully crafted stealth-action that delivers – also thanks to the included DLC.

While not the lavish remaster fans might have hoped for, this port of Dishonored remains a great stealth-action title, and the addition of Knives of Dunwall and Brigmore Witches only amplify that point.

While the Definitive Edition doesn't particularly bring anything new to the table, nor does it enhance the original game as much as other titles that made the jump from last-to-current-gen, Dishonored luckily has a great foundation that helped ease this transition.

Again, this is still a great game, but it’s a port that unfortunately feels largely unnecessary.
  7. I liked the original Dishonored version and I'm very exiting for the new title: Dishonored 2. But Dishonored: Definitive Edition is a complete disaster with low frame-rates and bad graphics. You may skip this one.

It is fantastic that you can deal with any situation in the game as you want. If you suck in any stealth moment, and for example get noticed by someone, you can always fix it and get a good action moment instead of loading last save. Or even forget about any stealth and complete the game as a good action.

Not so big leap in graphics from the original. But the game looks very good in 1080p and smooth.

I haven't played this game in PS3, so it was a good thing that this is also for PS4.

This game is one of the best games I've played.
I see that peoples give low score because this isn't 'Definitive', but I read the comments carefully
and I think that this game is not as bad as the user reviews will tell.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Dishonored is a GOD tier stealth game. This game has a powerful atmosphere. Set in a retro-tech, apocalyptic Victorian inspired world, you play as Corvo Attano. A man framed for the death of the empress and kidnapping of Emily, her daughter. He escapes prison and is granted supernatural powers by an ancient, powerful spirit.

He embarks on a brutal quest for revenge. Armed with unfathomable power, he seeks vengeance towards those who ruined his life...

The stealth element is the crowning glory of the game. You can scale buildings quickly and fluidly like a ninja, run across rooftops, walk on drain pipes, crawl though ventilation and the like. You can be one with the shadows. You can preform stealth kills and take down or engage in open combat, unleashing a whirlwind of arrows and blades.

You have an arsenal of imaginative and ingenious tools at your disposal. How you use them is up to you and your ingenuity.

This edition of Dishonored contains smoother graphics and all of the downloadable content readily available.

    Pros:
    Good combat
Great stealth mechanic, feels very satisfying.
    Atmospheric setting, rich in lore.
Dialog between characters is good and well executed.
    Interesting story with multiple endings
    Great replay value

    Cons:
Character models could of been better
Option of playing 3rd person would been cool
    Multiplayer would have been nice

I have gave this game a 8, although it would've got a 9 if they wasn't only mild improvements. It has a beautiful, colorful and pleasing world and a story that makes you want to be a part off it. However, i do not recommend getting this game if you previously owned it on the generation below, I do not think the improvements stand out enough for another buy on a next gen console.

One of the worst games I have ever played. The game mechanics are terrible and I don't understand the choice by the first person.
