Dreams is so many ideas at any given time. It is ambition given form, imagination given vibrant life and unlimited possibility waiting to be shaped with your hands. Unique and inspiring, there’s no other game that even comes close to reaching Dreams and its intuitive approach to creating content and an experience that you never want to wake up from.

Dreams gives you nearly unlimited tools to create your own game or just fool around with. The result is astonishingly deep and remarkably accessible, thanks to a list of detailed, comprehensive tutorials. On top of that, other people’s often bizarre creations provide you with a seemingly endless amount of content - and will keep on doing that for many years to come.

Dreams is a game that allows the player to explore a network of so many ideas— new and old. It’s something that with time will only get better, especially when online play and VR will eventually be in it. This is a game for the creatives, the casuals, the curious, and anything else. Media Molecule has created something that sets the bar for creation tool engines and sandbox games.

Media Molecule has devised something really special with Dreams, placing a hefty toolset in players' hands where the only limitations are your skills, imagination, and time. There's nothing else quite like it, and it feels like a culmination of everything the studio has been working towards since the first LittleBigPlanet. The presentation is too charming, the tutorials too informative, active, and engaging, while playing and finding other people's creations is a breeze...It's a stunning achievement that encourages limitless creative expression, a place where people can come together, collaborate, and explore each other's imaginations. It's a tool for the fools who dream, and one of the most innovative releases in years.

Dreams is wholly unique in that it gives the common player the tools to create virtually whatever they want. The unfortunate part is that the creations - at least so far and including the levels made by Media Molecule itself - are just not that fun to play. It will, however, be very exciting to see where this game will be in the upcoming months and years.

The variety of 1st person and 3rd person, arcade, and bizarre experiences makes every time you go into the game a different experience. This would be worth $60 but it was safely priced at $40, likely due to the seemingly endless development. The most exciting thing is it only just released and the best things will come further down the road as the community grows. Expand

Dreams can often give you a feeling of doing nothing but creating useless Play-Doh looking creations without any purpose to it.
