First things first, it is an Indie title and shouldn’t really be compared to a game like Mass Effect, simply because of the budget. But what gamers can compare is the story and characters because you don’t need money to write a good story. Unfortunately this game can’t hold up in that regard. But to the pros and cons:

    Pros:
-Attractive lead and good voice acting.
    -Funny A.I. Sidekick.
    -Great Soundtrack.
-Very detailed Skilled Tree. (One of the most detailed I have ever seen in a non-open world game).
-Hard Choice to make at the end. Cons:
-Some character models are terrible, while others look great. It doesn’t make sense...
-The Voice acting of the NPC ranges from average to bad.
-Gunplay feels very clunky and it’s almost impossible to aim without Auto-Aim on.
    -Short And anticlimactic last Level.
-Feels more like a Prologue than a Full fleshed out game (storywise).

Everreach is not a perfect game but for its short campaign and low budget it is a fun game with a very stunning protagonist and a very detailed skill tree which might add to its replayablility. Still, the game obviously suffers from the low production values. You know that the developers wanted to turn this story into a Sci Fi epic but just didn’t have the money for it. If you are a hardcore Sci Fi Fan, need to kill some time before the Mass Effect Remaster comes out and find this title for under 10 bucks you should take a look. Otherwise there is unfortunately not much to recommend here. Still, it was fun enough for me to finish it. 6/10

Why does the protagonist just sound aloof and unsure of everything, she's supposed to be skilled, not some brand new recruit. Also, although her character model is fine, there's some characters where they look way out of place/very low definition. Bland map, horrible AI, terrible enemy variety.

But the worst thing is the controls for this game... horrible aiming, enemies will randomly just appear out of nowhere, it's literally a struggle just to aim. This gets even more highlighted by the stupid bike scenes, as it's terrible to control, some parts no clear direction on where to go, and then you easily take damage. this is where i ultimately quit the game due to how frustrating it was to control the bike.

If they at least did the controls properly, then I wouldn't be as critical about the game, you would just say it's a low budget game and just accept it for what it is. but this is just terrible to play and a story that isn't even that good means there's really not much here to enjoy the game. basically just take the worst quests of mass effect, add terrible controls to it, and thus you have this game.
