Fist of the North Star feels like the perfect anime adaptation. It has the looks, the bloody combat sequences and the free roaming through the wasteland, with many collectibles, minigames and some surprises for Sega fans, although it doesn´t feel as polished as a Yakuza Game.
Although Yakuza fans are certain to notice its imperfections, Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise still exceeds expectations. The fighting system is so good that even the battles with the lowliest of lowlifes are entertaining. Every boss fight ranges from great to fantastic. They are exactly what long-time fans of the anime and manga franchise deserve. Then again, some gamers might just be happy to get a Fist of North Star game that's actually satisfying. It's been far too long since the last remotely decent one.

A great fun game that you can sink in countless hours. There are a lot of things to do here from racing to mini games. Art style is faithful to the manga series. I enjoyed this game a lot and I'm still playing it til now. It never gets old.

Amazing game. Interesting story with great characters. The gameplay is really fun, especially the fighting with combos, juggles and visceral finishers. A lot of mini games to spice things up, most of which are really hilarious.
Can be a bit grindy if you are going for platinum, but other than that, really enjoyable game.

Hokuto no Ken fans will love this game, although it's not as good as the franchise it borrows from, Yakuza. Still, a good and enjoyable adventure.
The mix of brutal anime action and the core mechanics of the Yakuza franchise works surprisingly well, but it lacks consistency and depth, while definitely not looking as crisp as Yakuza 6.
Even if Fist Of The North Star Lost Paradise feels a lot like a Yakuza game on a budget, it's still one of the best consoles games of Hokuto No Ken. A game clearly made for the fans of this hero.
Lost Paradise fails to bring Hokuto No Ken's fans the masterpiece they were hoping for, but it's still an enjoyable game with a twirled story and lots of content for Yakuza lovers.
I loved the mini-games, and found a lot of the substories delivered the quirky humor that I adore from the Yakuza series. I also enjoyed the combat for the most part, even if the various execution animations get a little tiring after the first dozen or so times you see them. But everything else surrounding those things is just a slog to get through. And the story takes some really weird, nearly non-sensical twists towards the end that I definitely had issues with. So I can’t say I would suggest this whole-heartedly, to either Yakuza or Fist of the North Star fans. Maybe check this one out via discount or rental, otherwise you should probably just go back and play more Yakuza.
Love the game. Hope they make part two with a longer story and make the combat more fluid.

There are so many small things that could be adjusted with little time:
* walking is awful, you hit a wall or a active npc you're stuck for about 2 seconds.
* animation are all the same.
* you can't skip the last part of the finisher. When you do 10 in a fight, imagine how many you see.
* sometimes a scene stop -> you walk literally 3 steps in the only available direction -> another long scene starts.
* Sometimes enemies can target me in a way that they would make a 180° turn in one step to hit me. Like, CMON.
* you can't stop easily when you start punching: that means if an enemy start to attack you, you're screwed. This is probably mostly me, but it's really annoying.
* no, one, really no one saw that when you finish a chapter and save, it does it 2 times in a row?
* some human 3D models are literally standing like a 3D model without skeleton, game devs should understand this. Left there in the default position, talking.
* first time you go to the fortune-teller, you have about 20 slow appearing *unskippable-boxes-to-click-ok-to*,
It feels like a game rushed out, no or little play tested, and it's a shame because I love the story, I
love most of the combat system, most of the 3D models and the feeling overall... I hope they can come out with a game which is actually play tested.

This game is mediocre in every aspect. It is only fanservice for Hokuto No Ken fans and nothing else. The FOTNS setting and the signature moves are the only good things. But oh god the mediocre stuff is all over the place. Combat is simple where it should be complex and complex where it should be simple. The side missions are boring, minigames are stupid, driving is awful, story is shabby and graphics are ugly. I love Hokuto no ken but I hate this game. I tried to play it many times, always emd bored and thinking what a **** **** am I playing. Gave it a 4 because it is playable and I didn't find any bugs. And because I like hokuto.
