A brilliantly climactic finale that also sees Telltale taking a bold step forward in terms of gameplay by offering a substantially different playing experience dependent on player choice. If this is a foreshadowing of things to come, Telltale is bound to remain firmly upon the interactive movie throne.
It leaves some unresolved plot points, but it’s still a hard hitting and brutal adventure, that maintains the usual quality level we’ve come to expect from Telltale products.

have no idea why people are rating this episode so low, while loving the rest of the series.
still have the same game of thrones feel to it as the previous episodes, and is really action packed too. your decisions also seem to matter for the first time in telltale history. without spoiling anything, i will just say that the game will actually punish you in some way if you are not careful.
it also has an awesome ending cutscene where the main series actors narrate the happenings based on your actions. sure there are a lot of cliffhangers, but thats not a negative thing as far as i'm concerned, since that means that there might be a season two.
overall i think this might be the best episode yet in the TTG game of thrones series.

A great ending with impactful (and very tough) choices to make. Bleak, emotional and poignant juste like the book and the TV series. Only problem: the technical and mechanical aspectsof the game do great disservice to this amazing and well crafted story.

Though it makes clear that nothing was truly decided in the Forrester’s quest for survival, both as a family and individually, there’s enough closure to the individual story lines to make the entire trip one worth taking.
Telltale did a good job with Game of Thrones, writing an original story that can really live up to the original. Sadly, the inner narrative isn't as sound as it looks from the outside: the three plots don't intertwine, and they just go on separated paths, leading somehow to a shallow finale.
As far as season finales go, The Ice Dragon brings no shortage of excitement to the table, but fans looking for confirmation that their choices really mattered will be left disappointed.
TellTale's meandering Game of Thrones ends with an episode that is very much like the rest of the series. Just "alright".
As a big fan of Telltale’s work, and a Game of Thrones aficionado, I found this to be a dismal letdown. I expected better – hell, I at least expected to feel something at the end of this chapter. Instead, I feel nothing. I’m just completely apathetic to the whole thing, and I feel no reason to be excited about a second season because, well… it’ll just be more of the same, if past experience is any indicator.
Im a little disappointed because of the choices you are given in this last ep.. Playing as Asher or Rodrik was cool but in Mira's and Gared's part of story the ending were either hard or unpleasant to decide. Seeing the Forrester Castle on the verge of destruction made the choices even harder I think.
In conclusion Telltale could have made a much better ending and suit it for the Season 2 .

MIRA'S ENDING = 8/10,
loved the skeeming in Kings Landing, the betreyal, forming aliences, breaking promises and even though the ending was ineviteble, that is what the game of thrones is about - you either win or you die
although I am really sorry for Mira - even though it she had the least action packed story line, it was by far my seconned favorite - fighting with words and clevernes of your character, since she is dead I am pissed that unique aspect will be missed from season 2
Rodric/Asher ending = 7/10
The storyline of Asher Forrester was by far my favorite - a sharp, funny rogue with a strong sword arm yet a silver tongue as well, again as with Mira he had a unique aspect in that he was in a diffrent continent other then Westeros giving us something fresh and new
Although the ending seemed TOO MUCH like the saying "it never rains, but it ours", it still made me feel like I did what I could and what I had too
EXCEPT the for the ambush/poison part
No wonder the ambush or poison plan went to **** - they killed a GUST under their roof, the one crime the Old Gods can't forgive - it may seem like a minor nuisence considering what the White Hills have done but in the world of Ice and Fire, or game of thrones if you have not read the books, its a **** big deal to kill a guest in your house - the ultimite discrase and show of betrayel, it's like spitting honor in the face
GARED'S ENDING = 7/10
although it was cool to take a look beyond the wall, all the segments felt so wasted, we haven't seen anything new really or experienced the harshness of the enviroment and the winter except for your friends whining they are running out of food - weak immersion
The North Grove was so easy to find, I don't know how anyone could think it was a myth
they literaly saw it from miles away and went through a 10 meters of cave
the North Grove itself is a big disapointement as well - no explanation about it's significance is given - the J-something girl tells you that it gives her the power to control her warriors yet after that uses blood magic to control them - what?
also there is just like 20 of those guys so yeah - pretty ****ty army
it's amazing that they are fearless and will fight and die without even a flinch or whine but **** me they will still can still die - eventhough each of them could easily take on 3-5 men they are still strongly outnumbered
and what about the plot hole when they die - the power of the grow or the blood magic or whatever is useless cause you got no one to control
the North Grove is one big plot hole staying or going south wont change anything - if you stay, the whights will overpower you eventually since while your men die their numbers grow, so youre dead
- if you go, 20 berserks and a bear wont change anything
esencially the North Grove storyline leaves more questions and more plot holes then any other and yet it was still fun to play
I don't know what they are planning for season 2 but it better finish all the loose ends and make it over
with because there is no more story to be gained here.
the Forresters either die off or there will be some miraculous help that gets them from under the shadow of doom - but more then one more season would be stretching it

Why the hell are so many story driven games having trouble telling a complete story anymore? The Game of Thrones tone is still there but it ends at what feels like the mid season point should be. Many of the plot lines pretty much go nowhere. Actually I take that back, considering the world and how the one interesting plot ends pretty much none of the plots go anywhere.
Grrrrrrrrrrrr why do games I really want to just like, enjoy, appreciate and recommend to my friends keep disappointing me? First Life is Strange and now this.
At least we still have Tales From the Borderlands, though.

Nothing good happened with this episode, and this whole season. Asher's band of warriors all died, they did nothing, just died. Ludd whitehill is still alive, House forrester is exiled which is very very predictable. This last episode doesn't hype me up for the next season sorry.
