    I played Grand Theft Auto III - Definitive Edition in 2022 and thought it was a good game that I liked.

    I haven't played the original GTA III, so I can't make comparisons with the Remastered game.

    "Remastering" By the looks of it, I can say    I haven't played the original GTA III, so I can't make comparisons with the Remastered game.

    "Remastering"
    By the looks of it, I can say that the graphics and lighting have great improvements. And this is how a Remastered game should be. Improvement in graphics, lighting and sounds.
    Improper lighting sometimes made driving difficult. Specially at night.

    "Base Game"
    The game itself has lots of problems. Of course, the things I'm going to mention wasn't problem when the original game came out.
    The AI is so annoying when you're trying to drive like a normal human!
    The police AI was also pain in the a**!
    Considering the lack of activities to do in the game, its story is too long and repetitive.
    I really loved the radio's music in the game. They were just perfect!

    I believe this game gets hate because of three things.
    1. People were expecting news about GTA VI and publishing this game meant people have to wait even more.
    2. People were expecting a remake not a remastered. I, myself, was expecting a GTA-V-looking remake and I was disappointed when the trailer came out.
    3. They couldn't even make a good playable remastered! Lots of bugs and performance issues were unacceptable. And this is main reason for hate. Though I must say the updates and efforts to make the game good is admirable.

    I passed Grand Theft Auto III The Definitive Edition on Nintendo Switch. And if you evaluate not only the version of the game for Switch butI passed Grand Theft Auto III The Definitive Edition on Nintendo Switch. And if you evaluate not only the version of the game for Switch but for any other platform, then this is a failure. This is a spit to the gaming society from Take-Two. The only plus from this whole venture with The Definitive Edition is that many, like me, got acquainted with the classics. Yes, it is playable, on the Switch it is so generally tolerable due to portability. But you can't do games and treat classics like that. As for the original itself, it is better to try it on PS2 or in emulator mode on PS4… Expand

Gta 3 was my first video game that i played . It was the reason i love video games and spen 2/3 of my free time of life playing until now . I born as rockstar fan and i will die as one . Until the end i will play all the game this company gonna build but iam really sad because this games was something more than **** . Most of the people who are angry about this game is because they expect gta 6 but i not going to start with that because i know rockstar allways wants to make something three step forward of any games on that age and they prove it more than 5time but iam not angry just because they didn't make gta 6 now .
