The nostalgic value of this collection is beyond any doubt, they are three masterpieces that today are still very funny (and with a sensational script), but this remastering has fallen short in many respects, and has technical flaws.
Grand Theft Auto Trilogy Definitive Edition is a good way to (re)discover three legendary titles of the PS2 era. They're the same and yet very different in terms of visuals. But it's not really 100% good and even on PS5, it struggles to deliver a totally smooth experience. Not to mention that they feel a bit old if you talk about gameplay. Still effective, but be prepared.

If these games shaped or changed you, you might find the notion of their being shaped and changed, in turn, an unwelcome one.
A disappointing remaster of some of the most influential games of all times leaves a bad taste in the mouth.
The Grand Theft Auto series will always be seen as a cultural milestone in video gaming which led to the open world games that we cherish now, but the years have been a bit harsh on the trilogy and the complete lack of care put into what is essentially an afterthought of a remaster doesn’t help matters much. The few updates made with controls, shooting, and lighting are nice, but not enough to justify the $60 price tag. The games are still worth revisiting, especially if you’ve never played the original releases, but only if you aren’t playing on PC or the Switch as those versions seem to share the bulk of issues the game is currently experiencing. So far PS5 is the way to go for a hassle-free trip into Liberty City, just maybe wait for a price cut first.
From the Definitive Edition of the iconic GTA titles emerged a technically unfinished remaster, which remained halfway. The content is and will always remain timeless, but the way to get to it and to enjoy it is simply not good.
GTA: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition is a relic of its time. A relic that was better left unearthed.

This game is quite cool, because I dont like the realism in games and that is why I never want for games to look like movies, nowadays it's a good balance between games look closely like movies and games do not look like movies, that is also why I hate graphic mods because they look too real for me. Mostly I like this game because it has that plastic feel to it, and it just looks pretty in my opinion, yeah it has some bugs but some of them are funny but some are game breaking. For example there was one I was doing a livestream of vice city definitive and the Dialogue volume was tied with the music. So if I don't want to get copyright claim I had to basically mute some cutscenes.

I wouldn't say the game is unplayable, people are never happy. They told you what you was getting and people still moan. The bugs though I can't defend. Needed a bit longer in development, another great game rushed by greedy AAA company's.

Jogo cheio de bugs, modelos de personagens horríveis, coisas faltando e só dou nota 4 porque são jogos clássicos. A Rockstar Games, Grove Street Games e Take-Two são as grandes culpadas jogo feito as pressas só para arrancar o dinheiro das pessoas com o nome GTA. Joguem os originais que são muito melhores.
