    Infernium
    more like infuriating
Its rare that I dislike a game so much that I cant be bothered to complete it before I review it, but this is one of those times. Take my review with a grain of salt if you must. but this game is just awful basically you absorb energy from orbs that can be used to unlock gates.. there are gates with different symbols so you need to run around this world

but this game is just awful
basically you absorb energy from orbs that can be used to unlock gates.. there are gates with different symbols so you need to run around this world collecting new tattoos.. and by run I mean very slowly walk a,d very slowly dash which saves you 0 time so is only useful for hopping gaps…
however the dash mechanic here feels lazily placed as the game will give an indicator that you can dash further than you actually can… just ultimately making the gameplay and dash copping feel frustrating..
youre not alone in the old dashing wizard simulator though..
there are hooded figures around that make for some admittedly terrifying moments…
if this was just the game then there would be something halfway good here.. but its not..
if these hooded figures catch you youre sent into some limbo… however I could not figure out how to escape this place so being caught was essentially a game over…
I would just restart with a new game completely…
and after getting decently deep into the game , getting caught again and giving the limbo one more chance for me to figure out and escape… I couldn’t.. I was done.
this game lacks polish and direction.
view it as a permadeath game and these something here…
view it as what it actually is though and its just a frustrating infuriating confusing mess.
    I give infernium
    a 3.5/10

This walking simulator has a good depth and makes us think about life and death. A unique experience that delivers great moments, although it's hard to immerse in its universe and it lacks some polishing.

If trudging around a nice-looking hell is what you’re after then there may be a little merit in investing in Infernium, but for anyone after a decent gaming experience – be it horror, puzzle, or walking simulator – then this just doesn’t cut it.

Infernium is a vague, inconsistent jumble of a game, and that bleeds into its horror all too often. A shame really because what Infernium tries to do with its setting and storytelling is refreshing. This may be a trip to Hell, but it needn't play like it.
