JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Eyes in Heaven features fun combat and a crazy story you’ll find hard not to get sucked into.

Fun and frantic but not as deep or as beautiful as we'd like it to be. Besides that, this game has been designed as a love letter to JoJos fans, anyone else will feel a little lost.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven differs significantly from All Star Battle. The introduction of the third dimension and the implementation of battles focused on 2v2, make the experience less complex than the previous one. Despite this, the game contains a complete and incredibly varied roster, as well as a very long-lived story mode, supervised by the same author of the manga.

Eyes of Heaven offers lots of contents, but it isn't particularly convincing in terms of gameplay.

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven isn’t going to send a ripple through the video game community, but it was never intended to. As a simple little love letter to fans, it succeeds despite taking its faults and the lofty requisites to truly treasure it.

This is a game which is only really enjoyable for the fans. Other people will have a hard time getting the point. The game is overloaded with characters, levels and modes, but on the other hand the battles are buggy and chaotic.

The dialogue, merely filler between bouts, is more entertaining than the combat that's meant to be the game's focus.

Only a little more than half of the entire roster can be used in story mode.

The Good: The game literally feels like you are playing the anime. They didn't shy away from bringing characters with complex powers like Diavolo or Vanilla Ice. Every stage in story mode has a free-roam version. The roster has something like 53 playable characters. Many characters interact with each other during the fight opening.

I think this game is great. As a long time JoJo fan it does just about everything I want it to. I can't recommend it to non-JoJo fans, but I can't recommend it enough to those who are.

I have to say though, that the combat in JJBA: All Star Battle (PS3) was a lot better (even if it did utilise stupid directional combos). The Story is alright (though I can't really say much about it as I played it in Japanese and ~50% of it went over my head), but it is essentially good and is fresh (something I can't say a lot about anime games tbh). Love the character roster, I just wish that the combat was more flushed out and utilised specific combos like Tekken, Street Fighter or Budokai games. Ohh well... 6.5/10 game rounded up to 7/10 because I'm a JoJo lover. Expand

Eyes of Heaven was something I was very much looking forward to, especially since it has something that was grossly absent from All-StarEyes of Heaven was something I was very much looking forward to, especially since it has something that was grossly absent from All-Star Battle; Speedwagon. However, this game has a lot of problems. The style, while nice, seems pretty rough. The characters' lips don't really sync up with the audio, and don't even really move in a way that would match the words at all. The actually quality of the graphics is rather disappointing, and while the shadows are really nice and give it a great stylized look, the overall look seemed better on All-Star Battle. However, the main issue, and the one that is making me give it a 4, is that there is NO LOCAL MULTIPLAYER. No Co-Op or even Versus! What kind of fighting game doesn't have any sort of offline multiplayer? I've never played any sort of fighting game that doesn't support this, and the fact that the developers felt that they could omit a staple of the genre sorely upset me. Maybe the next version will allow a more sociable experience, but for now, back to All-Star Battle. Expand
