Now back home, in a new New Orleans, Lincoln is dedicated to rebuilding his life, but established ties keep him from exiting the city. It'll take more than a few friends to make it in this new world. Intense gun fights, hand-to-hand combat, white knuckle driving and street smarts will all be required. It’s refreshing to see a game tackle hard issues so earnestly, and I can honestly say this is a story which will stay with me long after playing.

Mafia's return is a bittersweet one. On one hand, there are several visual issues that burden the game, and the feeling of being an errand boy completing repetitive missions is always there. On the other hand, Hangar 13 ha created a world with its own personality, a really interesting city and the soundtrack selection is superb. The adult, violent and vengeance-themed plot is another remarkable point.

Mafia III’s compelling story and combat really shine through, and it is simply a fun game.

It's obvious that Mafia 3 is a game with huge potential, with a great prologue and a couple of missions later on. Sadly, it seems the developers did everything they could to undermine the quality of the game. However, despite many shortcomings, Mafia 3 still has this special "something" that makes you want to come back and find some more TL-49 fuses.

Mafia 3 is a constant struggle. The setting is amazing, but there is no legit reason to really explore it. The story is intriguing, but repetitive missions make it difficult to get through. Cinematically speaking it is a great game; unfortunately gameplay-wise there is room for improvement.

If it's picked up as a sandbox game, it's a lackluster one, one with a few truly transcendent ideas, but a terrific and daring story.

Mafia III lacks seriousness to become a boss in the open-world action game genre. It sure has a very interesting setting and its scenario is efficient, thanks to some amazing cut scenes. But it just doesn't feel like it's a finished game in terms of visuals, and its mechanics tend to be just too repetitive. Too bad.

Great story and characters, beautiful and vast open world, awesome 60s music. This and uncharted 4 are my favorite games of this year. I really enjoyed Mafia 2 and just love Mafia 3. I actually prefer it to GTA. Why are some people giving the game negative reviews???? Don't listen to them. There has been hate surrounding his games since game-play was first released. The graphics are fantastic, some people just have unrealistic expectations. My favorite open world game since LA Noire. Expand

It's story and characters are top notch and are worthy of a game and perhaps a big screen treatment. But they're bogged down by clunky game mechanics (the driving especially) and repetitive missions. Almost every rival mafia organization infiltration mission is the same objective that ends in a blood bath (although the shooting is fun). Side gripes include an (at times) empty open world and unfinished visuals in particular the weather effects.
Overall, I enjoyed playing Mafia 3 for the most part but it's repetitive missions and occasionally frustrating game play will prevent me from wanting to play it again. I say wait for it to go on sale.

Recomendación: NO LO COMPRES, o juégalo prestado.

After playing the saga of Grand Theft Auto, from the first game to the V, through the great San Andreas and Vice City, I get fully into the Mafia saga. I felt at ease for the first two installments, which have immersed me in the world of Cosa Nostra, one of the most legendary mafia eras. With details that were taken care of in the least, from the graphic detail, physical, AI, to the concept of the game, very well taken, and that caused a brutal immersion. Now I find Mafia 3, a title with an even more interesting story, since the mafia has diversified, and set in a post-war period in Vietnam, where there was still a lot of racial segregation. A very attractive character like Lincoln Clay, and a very well made argument, telling us a story of revenge.
It has opted for the open world, a concept that has been used in lots of games, but here, it is very badly applied. Map and world completely dead, practically all missions are the same, do the same thing one and another, and another, and another, and again. Bored to say enough, pure monotony in the fighting, in the "exploration", come, like a FF XIII, but instead of having a corridor, we have a dead world, without the great variety that the previous deliveries had. A game that at 2 or 3 hours, you do not want to play anymore, how boring and monotonous it is. A very bad concept. And this is talking about the game itself.
If we talk about the technical section ... I will contain myself to at least write this review, which hurts itself (but someone has to do it): Bugs of all colors and flavors (revolving doors, the famous "doll mode", crasheos, unbalances in cycles of time, lighting failures, AI that has nothing intelligent, lack of animations, or terrible animations). All the details that in the previous Mafia were as cared for as a baby, here they do not exist. If PC performance is painful, in PS4 it is much worse. I had not played such a big crap since No Man's Sky (and that game was junk), because I do not explain in any other way the 5 crashes I had on PS4.
That is, the game itself sinks. And in what does not sink on the one hand, it sinks on the other, in the form of the repetitiveness that the game has. I am fortunate that they lent it to me, because if I came to buy it, I would have shot myself in the head.
Recommendation: DO NOT BUY IT, or borrow it. You would thank me for not throwing away your money.
