If there's one thing that Mega Man X Legacy Collection 2 provides above all else, it's variety. Not everyone will enjoy each featured title but there's no denying that these four games are unique and offer plenty of memorable challenges.
  2. Jul 26, 2018
The games included are varied when it comes to quality, but it’s a very elaborated and carefully crafted product fans will enjoy.
  3. Jul 24, 2018
X8 gets unfairly lumped in with X7, but as a result of this collection (and the previous X collection on PS2 and GameCube) it can make its mark on history again.

This appears to be a theme with the Mega Man franchise. Each series starts off well, and then after a half dozen or so numbered titles, the quality falls off a cliff. Much like with the original Legacy Collections, I would recommend the first collection over the second in a heartbeat if you were to only choose one.
  5. Jul 25, 2018
While having both 1 and 2 may be necessary if you are completionist or if you adore the series, the second one is so much weaker that it is very hard to justify.
  6. Jul 30, 2018
Mega Man X Legacy Collection 2 is the worst thing the series has to offer. Even if X8 is pretty good, X5, X6 and X7 are awful. Since this collection shares its bonuses with the first one, there’s no reason to buy it.
