This gargantuan follow-up rivals the gameplay volume from the original release and features a new icy setting, storyline, monsters, gameplay options, and more.

The game's all-new story picks up after Monster Hunter: World and whisks hunters away to the newly discovered chilly locale that, once fully explored, becomes the largest region in World so far. The new locale is home to several new and returning monsters ready to challenge hunters throughout their expeditions and raises the stakes with the added higher difficulty Master Rank. Iceborne continues the skill-based progression and robust crafting system found in World and expands that with several new gameplay features that broaden the player's combat repertoire. All this leads to the ultimate hunter test against the mysterious new flagship monster, Velkhana.

I absolutely love this expansion and considering that Monster Hunter World is one of my favorite games of this generation, it’s been great to have this excuse to revisit it. I look forward to playing more and more, and I’m excited to see what type of content updates Capcom rolls out in the future.

As the follow up to the best selling game that Capcom has ever made and my personal pick for game of the year, it’s an understatement to say that there was a lot to live up to. Luckily, the masters at Capcom were more than up for the challenge and delivered on an expansion that highlights the unforgettable moments of triumph the series is synonymous for while moving forward with clever new mechanics that enhance the Monster Hunter experience to its finest iteration.

Between revisions and additions to the gameplay, improvements to the quality of life of the players, and a simply surprising amount of content, Iceborne inherits all the strengths of the base game and further amplifies its enjoyment, coming to rewrite the rules of a potentially endless endgame.

Monster Hunter World: Iceborne is an excellent expansion so large that it almost feels like a sequel. It's a better version of a great game.

Monster Hunter World: Iceborne is a fantastic expansion for the most committed players. Almost all the flaws we found in the base game have been resolved, and the content available is now quite substantial. Even experts should find themselves putting a lot of extra hours into it. However, it is not a revolution — if you didn't like MHW, then Iceborne probably won't change your mind. If "harder, better, faster, stronger" fights were what you wanted, then this expansion is for you.

Iceborne is as much a roaring success as Monster Hunter World was, and it can receive no higher praise than that. It successfully adds in new layers, monsters, and a beautiful new area, all of which will have players flocking back to the game to experience it all. It’s fun, it’s hard as nails, and it makes my PS4 sound like a jet engine. It’s a truly brilliant expansion to an excellent game.

This expansion makes every DLC of any other game feel ashamed. The added content is massive and without exaggerating doubles the original gameThis expansion makes every DLC of any other game feel ashamed. The added content is massive and without exaggerating doubles the original game content. It is a must for everyone who loved the base game and is looking for challenge, new monsters, sick designs and a story that even if not the main focus of a MH game has some nice twists. Expand

Una dei migliori dlc/espansioni con ben 27 monstri e con nuovi monstri in arrivo e collaborazione con altri giochi dei soldi ben spesi

No plot and no characters with traits or progression. Only monster grinding with gear progression system. Pretty bland.
