    Even when the overall challenge of living a day in Octodad’s shoes bears too much weight, the game is amusing enough to quell most of the frustration.

    It’s a real gem of an experience and for $10-$15 dollars, depending on whether or not you have a PlayStation Plus account, it’s certainly a game worth spending your time and money on.

    Octodad: Dadliest Catch may not be a triple A game, but Young Horses have been smart enough to make it catchy, with a particularly endearing hero. Unfortunately, Octodad suffers from an imprecise gameplay, a sometimes crazy camera and approximative collisions. It remains a good experience, maybe too expensive though.

    Octodad: Dadliest Catch is a case of love or hate. Many will love it for the different experience and because of all the silliness of the protagonist, while others simply will feel they are wasting their time.

I played this and got one of the most charming experiences of my gaming life, the music, the post modern humor, the sillyness of it all, decently varied locations- could have been better but every area is pretty dense with interactivity.

    the game also feels very complete and thats not worth overlooking, nothing feels wasted. every chapter feels right. but anyway play it yourself!    … Expand

The only complaint I have is that the game is quite short, just a couple of hours long - but that's better than to water it down just to make the game lengthier. So much charm and decent graphics.     - The interaction is very well done, you can pretty much interact with everything
    - The grocery store level has to be one of the best levels in a video game, I don't think I've played a game where you can "shop" .. virtual shopping as a requirement (Without menus/talking to a npc) would be a neat idea. :P

    Bad:
    - Graphics are subpar
    - The wife's voice is very irritating to me.
    - The story and game are too short (even for its price)    … Expand

The game still has its good parts tho; with funny quotes and sayings from the wife to the husband(Octodad). Plus the whole "noboby is aware that he is a octopus" is hilarious in itself. Wait for it to go on sale and buy it then since its only a 3 hour game max… Expand
