Aug 4, 2014The new Abe is just like the old Abe: a painful hard game, set in a fascinating world. Be sure to know what you're gonna put yourself into...

Aug 4, 2014Yes, it has some great reimagined graphics, and it represents a solid return to the Oddworld universe when it works as it's supposed to. However, New 'n' Tasty lacks some precision in the analog controls, it has almost no replay value and lacks imagination on the cooperative front, so this isn't the perfect remake by no stretch of the imagination, nor it stands close to great representatives of the platform/stealth genre, such as Another World or LIMBO.
-
Jul 29, 2014New 'n' Tasty picks up everything that was characteristic about the original PlayStation One game and improves it for a modern day audience without sacrificing its core mechanics. This results in a game that feels modern in both style and form, but still has its roots planted firmly in the past.

Jul 28, 2014When it works, Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty is a beautiful, quirky, and devious puzzle platformer that deserves a spot alongside the likes of LIMBO, Another World and the original Abe’s Oddysee in the gaming canon. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work nearly often enough.
