    Pac-Man Championship Edition II is a lovely variaton of a classic. The rhythm is everything, the hi-score is your boss, and even if it's approach it's not free as the first chapter, after 30 second of play you'll be in the zone like the old times.

    Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 is simply an incredibly fun and addictive arcade experience that once again reinvents the arcade classic in a compelling way. The visual style feels timeless, looking as great as it did back in 2007.

    Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 is a tough, uphill experience that might have a few things going against it in terms of frustration, but the game also has a lot going for it in terms of challenge. Gamers generally cry about games being too quick and easy, so Bandai Namco Studios has created something that goes against that grain. Certainly this is the Dark Souls of the Pac-Man series.

    Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 may have a few additions for the sake of it, but it’s still one of the best score-attack games you could hope to play.

    Adds a lot of excitement to an already fast paced game that makes Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 a very worthy follow-up on its predecessor.

    I can definitely applaud CE2 for not just resting on its laurels and just releasing more CEDX but with more maps and skins or something, but what they actually did with the gameplay managed to take a lot of the thrill out of it. Despite the fact that it seems to run a lot faster, there were too many times while playing this game that I just got bored in the middle of a run. “This still going, huh?” I thought to myself. For all its bells and whistles, bumping music, and sleek framerate, Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 just doesn’t keep the thrill alive.

    I loved the original, spending hours upon hours playing it on PS3. When I saw this had released it was an immediate purchase and in no wayI loved the original, spending hours upon hours playing it on PS3. When I saw this had released it was an immediate purchase and in no way was I let down. It is different than most Pac-Man games, as the play is much more frantic and the ghosts are totally different. At first I was like "uh oh" but then after playing it more I realized it was better. This sequel is better at giving you that buzz of blazing around the maze at crazy speeds. Progressing isn't hard but mastering requires practice and reflexes of steel. Love this game!… Expand

    Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 was my most anticipated game of the year and i hope it gets a sequel. I recommend it to all but i also have toPac-Man Championship Edition 2 was my most anticipated game of the year and i hope it gets a sequel. I recommend it to all but i also have to report a couple of issues. The adventure mode is pure frustration, even for pro players of the genre, you might want to skip that part of the game (it's a huge part of the game sadly ). The PS4 version sometimes stutters and needs to be patched, the stutters don't occur frequently and i am 100% sure it is not platform/hardware related but in a game like this every millisecond matters in order to achieve the highest score (not to mention the D-pad precision this title requires, during stuttering the controler doesn't respond ). Overall, the game is a gem but until it is patched i give Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 a 6/10.… Expand

    With my Xbox360 no longer in working order I jumped at the chance to pick up this sequel on the PS4 but must admit I came away disappointed. Perhaps realising that they'd pretty much perfected the formula already Namco seem to have taking the kitchen sink approach to this sequel but, rather than adding to the formula, they've simply over-complicated matters. Little "cut-scenes" that play out for certain events and pointless "boss battles" etc all interrupt the flow of the gameplay without adding anything of worth and the way the ghost now move at random (rather than remaining in a train) once you collect enough pellets to eat them adds an unneeded element of luck. The fact that a fairly long tutorial is needed to explain all these elements speaks volumes really.

    Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 is still a fun game at heart, but overall it actually feels like a backwards step from its predecessor.    … Expand
