Patapon 2's remaster still retains some dated discordance. However, the 4k/1080p remastering of this sequel’s unmistakably cartoony beauty will strike a chord, as will its harmoniously musical gameplay. Ultimately, Patapon 2 remains one of the greatest rhythm games of all-time, if not the greatest.

Patapon 2 Remastered brings its unique style to the PS4, with plenty of variety, and some wonderful music to boot. It's just a shame that the input lag is a problem.
For the first time on PlayStation 4, the celebrated member of the Patapon franchise, Patapon 2 Remastered is available to introduce a new generation of players to the earworm of a game that plagued PSP owners.
A fun and funky sequel, Patapon 2’s bolstered roster of cheerful eyeball folk make for another welcome trip soundtracked to the beat of Pata Pata Pata Pon. It’s a shame then that the remaster feels incomplete, offering an experience that’s fundamentally less comprehensive than the PSP original.
Patapon 2 Remastered is really fun, but the gameplay is relatively boring and there are no extra and bonuses compared to the original PSP game.
Patapon 2 Remastered fails to compensate for the fact that the Sony PSP was a very different device from the PlayStation 4, and in the end, controller latency sinks this classic game adaptation. If the game had compensated for the particulars of its new home, it may have been immensely enjoyable – the core of a great game is intact. But as it stands, Patapon 2 is frustrating and unfun.
Patapon 2 Remastered is here! Yet another Patapon Remastered from PS4! Amazing HD graphics, improving animations and characters, etc., but there are some problems like bugs and glitches in this game, plus it doesn't have a local/online co-op. That game has some little issue and needs to improve for the next Remastered, but still, it is a very decent game. Hopefully, the next one will be amazed at their fans (Patapon fans).

I love Patapon 2 and it deserved a better remaster, this version has input lag, poorly placed sprites, low cutscenes resolution, bugged animations and they put out the multiplayer option

The single worst game introduction I've seen in my life. Getting through the tutorial is a real chore. The story is an uninspired and annoying thing to sit through.
Great concept, extremely poorly executed.
The off beat sounds withing the game are extremely annoying to from the get go.

Instead of revamping the local wireless as either couch co-op or friends list parties, The dev team thought it was more appropriate to delete it and call it a day.
I have loved this series' campaign and aesthetic since the psp, and multiplayer was one of the driving forces of it. Being over a decade later means there is NO excuse for this lazy rushed PORT. If anything it is Demastered.
You get more value from buying the 2008 version
I Pray to IT that we get a multiplayer patch because I WANT TO LOVE THIS SO BADLY
