    It’s mildly disappointing to see the framerate capped, and that bots are still in the same state after all this time, but Payday 2’s deep mechanics and purity of vision still make it one of the best, yet most overlooked multiplayer games you can play today.

    This was a game with a lot of depth and variety to the scenarios it put you in, and that’s great fun to play cooperatively. Though it still has its flaws, the added content and changes that have been brought together in the Crimewave Edition build upon the original release and mean that there’s plenty of reasons to sink back into a life of crime.

    Payday 2's novel heist-based gameplay is still worth checking out for those interested in a refreshing cooperative experience. For veteran criminal masterminds, however, the return of easily fixable problems and lack of account migration make it hard to justify the jump from previous versions.

    The remastered edition of a game which wasn’t very good when it was released on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC two years ago. Overkill Software has included all the DLC, but hasn’t solved the issues of the original. There are some good ideas, but also some bad things.

    The co-op heists of Payday 2 hijack new-gen, bringing with them a gym bag full of updates and DLC, but also some familiar problems. Great for newcomers, but non-essential for seasoned criminals.

    Starbreeze always delivers, I already own this game to PC but I want to play with my friends on consol aswell and I love this game :)

    However, if you want a game that is fun, plays perfect in co op and solo, gives hours of gameplay due to replayable levels and all for a decent price: Nothing will beat payday.    … Expand

    -the soundtrack is very very heavy. And gets the player psyked.
    -AMAZING SOLO campaign style leveling and unlocking 100's of guns and accessories.
    --multiplayer is MATURE, and rewards by following a stealth or agro plan
    ---shooting mechanics are flawless and more realistic then FPS
    ---AWESOME LARGER Heist and large robberies
    --The Ai for you're 2 teammates is awesome..(they get shot cause everyone gets shot=duh)
    --I only briefly played on the 360 but can't stop playing it on PS4
    --they added a lot of elements that enhanced solo play from repetitiveness..

    Invest a hour or two and I doubt anyone will score this less then a 7..    … Expand

    This sounded like it could be a pretty fun co-op experience, but the awful gun-play, poor mission design and moronic enemy AI drained all my enthusiasm after just a couple of missions. Even at the sale price of £3.49 I feel like I wasted my money.    … Expand
