Overall, however, Pocket God vs Desert Ashes is a very decent Advance Wars mimic, and fans of the franchise will have a good time — especially since there are no quick wins via in-app purchases.
It's unfortunate that a crossover that seemed so odd when it was announced ended up being so very ordinary.
Advance Wars fans looking for a fix could do much worse, as could anyone else looking for a game that balances the simple and the cerebral.
