Tons of fun and action-packed carnage, made all the better by NG+ playthroughs on higher difficulties once all abilities are unlocked. It's never particularly challenging but the spectacle and scale of brutality is never a disappointment. It's such a pity the company was closed down and we won't see another instalment. Expand

I found it massively overrated, with less than great combat/movement, a poor upgrade purchasing system. I found the bosses unbalanced and too difficult (I like challenge but they required a lot of time and attacks that got repetitive and as they could basically kill you in two hits, frustrating). But most importantly I found the story god-awful, the voice acting atrocious, and the characters uninteresting.

I also really didn't like the graphics of P1, so when I started P2 I really didn't expect to like this game much. However, I ended up really liking it a lot. The camera movement was massively improved over the first game, which changed things a lot, combat was a lot more enjoyable, and introduced in a far better way. The story was hundreds of times more interesting, and the characters were actually likeable (they realised no one liked the first game's character so him into the antagonist this time which was quite clever.
The progression/levelling up system this time around was far more enjoyable and logical. Levelling up as you progress. Weapons taken from enemies after battles. The world (or maps) or this game were far more interesting and realistic than the original game which was effectively a grid, also the addition of waypoints was much needed. I enjoyed the addition of the stealth consume, while it wasn't really a necessity, it added a new element to this game formula.

Finally I really enjoyed the humour that exists in small part within this game. It made the characters far more relatable and the story more enjoyable.

My biggest annoyance with this game was that the cutscenes which stylistically were very nice, and actually interesting, unlike Prototype1. Unfortunately they skipped and stuttered constantly throughout the game, without out of sync audio, which was especially annoying as I played the digital version of the game, with no disc. However this didn't effect the game, and I was still able to follow along.

I can't believe how much I enjoyed this game over the original, the better story, and small improvements over the level design, gameplay mechanics, and the nicer environment really made a huge difference.

A good improvement from a good start. The original games biggest flaw was it's difficulty and it's abilities that was not balanced , Now itA good improvement from a good start. The original games biggest flaw was it's difficulty and it's abilities that was not balanced , Now it has been fixed so now everything is good and tidy. I really like the new main character because he is like a blunt instrument through a watermelon, And he's three more funny to see how he interact with other characters . And if you play it I would recommend go through all the side stories because if you're only going through the main story then you are getting food it en one day Expand

There quite alot of performance issues and it barely looks better then it did on last gen consoles.

The game is the same except performance issues and a few glitches.
