    The silliness helps tie together Resident Evil 2’s combination of genuine terror with baroque puzzles and excessive action, making sure that it is frightening but always fun. It has always been the ethos that has made Resident Evil such an enduring survival-horror success for over twenty years. This remake captures it perfectly, but makes sure it has plenty of fresh tricks up its sleeve to ensure it has as much of an impact on the here and now.

    Resident Evil 2’s remake highlights just how great Capcom’s first sequel in the Resident Evil series ways, but does it in a way that makes it the most compelling entry in the series thus far. It’s smart changes merge with the classic design expertly, while its atmosphere is rich thanks to gorgeous lighting and incredible sound design. It’s a reminder of the past, but this remake would be a fine direction for the future of Resident Evil.

    Don't labor under the delusion that, if you played the original Resident Evil 2, that you should skip this one for some reason. There’s no excuse of “I’ve already played the original, so I don’t need to grab this one.” You couldn’t be more wrong if that’s your line of thinking. From top to bottom, this is already an early contender for Game of the Year 2019, and one of the greatest reasons ever to be a survival horror fan.

    By trying to please so many different players the game will probably not satisfy anyone completely. Resident Evil veterans will feel like it is a bit too simple and unfaithful. New players will wonder about the 90s logic in spending so much time looking for keys so you can politely unlock doors when your backpack is loaded with rocket launchers and oversized shotguns which could just as easily have blown them off their hinges.

    Resident Evil 2 es el ejemplo de como hacer un Remake perfecto, junto con FFVII, estos juegos hacen un giro en prácticamente todo el juegoResident Evil 2 es el ejemplo de como hacer un Remake perfecto, junto con FFVII, estos juegos hacen un giro en prácticamente todo el juego original, pero se siente la esencia que tenían originalmente, León y Claire son excelentes personajes y muy queridos por el fandom, y ese nuevo estilo les quedo de lujo, la historia es muy muy interesante, es muy buena, el único pero que se le tiene, y que eso le resta para no ser un juego de 95, tiene unas contradicciones BRUTALES, son simplemente horribles, parece que Capcom no pensó mucho sobre la conexión de ambas historias y solo hicieron partes nuevas junto con reciclado, pero bueno, es de los pocos puntos malos que le podría encontrar, pero realmente es un algo negativo muy gordo, la cámara le queda perfecto, es simplemente asombroso jugar RE2 con cámara en tercera persona, y Mr. X es igual de tenebroso que en el original, sin duda estar investigando y de repente oír los pasos de que se aproxima es fabuloso, las armas de cada uno son bastante buenas, pero sinceramente me quedo con Claire, su historia como armas me atraen mas, realmente es un muy muy buen juego, me hubiera gustado ver localizaciones nuevas o enemigos nuevos, aunque esto ya es una opinión impopular, sin dudas junto a FFVII es el mejor Remake jamás hecho, logro hacer un juego tanto para viejos jugadores como para los nuevos jugadores, muy bien Capcom, podría atreverme a decir que es el mejor juego que hiciste en la generación de Ps4 y One, es una terrible joya.… Expand

And it's the first Horror game in YEARS! that don't rely on jump scares to scare you. The entire stage is set in a mood were you actually feel like you're struggeling to survive.     Ammo is low and zombies are hard.
    Unlike the original, the appearance of tyrants is depressing.
