Sairento VR

Sairento VR is a superb product that will satisfy any PS VR owner looking for something meatier and more thoughtful than the seemingly endless glut of carnival games and rail shooters on offer, and may even spark up a comparable workout to Beat Saber.

At the end of the day, Sairento VR clearly focuses on gameplay. It is the most rewarding and badass game I have played in terms of combat and movement, and it's something that everyone should experience in VR if they have the chance. It's a gameplay sandbox that does enough to make you feel in control and gives you the opportunity to test different weapon combinations and relics to become an ultra-mobile ninja-killing machine. That may not hide the fact that it looks basic and is quite repetitive in terms of enemies, level design and mission objectives. Sairento is fun, and it's highly recommended if you own a PSVR headset — assuming your stomach can handle the erratic movements and jumps.

The world’s only cyber ninja simulator is distinctly rough around the edges, but never lets that get in the way of some gory, chaotic fun.

The sort of game VR was made for. While it won’t be winning any awards for its graphics, story or mission design, it nails the fundamentals of an action game, letting you live out an entrancing power fantasy. Sai-ren-to. Don’t forget it.

Concerns over longevity aside, Sairento offers you a unique twist on the old 'be a ninja, kill everyone' style of game and uses PSVR effectively to make you feel like a high level ninja assassin better than any game since the original Tenchu.
