PC players craving a bit of horror during the Summer can’t go wrong with Silver Chains, that is, as long as they’re okay with something that ultimately comes as feeling a little familiar.

Что мне сказать про игру? Здесь есть беготня по комнатам за предметами - как в квестах. Обычно хорроры используют "симулятор ходьбы" или догонялки и прятки от монстра. Здесь тоже есть прядки от монстра, но ещё хождение за квестовыми предметами и их использование. проходится за час (или меньше). Страшно? - нет. Графика стандартная, не очень красивая.

Silver Chains is a mundane haunted house saunter with all the twists and turns you would expect in a premise like this. Even though there is some chilling ambience in there, its short duration, meagre evocative moments and easy puzzles constitute a rather unexceptional experience.
As gamers, we have visited many haunted houses, but that of Silver Chains is not among the most interesting or among the most disturbing ones.
Apart from a few pulse-pounding moments in an otherwise generic haunted house story, the weakest link in Silver Chains is that it’s just not very scary or engaging enough to survive as an adventure game otherwise.
Silver Chains is a boring, confused horror game plagued by excessive clichés, jump scares and uninspired gameplay that fails to compel the player forward in any meaningful way.
Mundane exploration mars the experience of Silver Chains, a haunted-house horror game which compromises a decent narrative with frustrating gameplay.
Summary After his car hit a tree in a stormy night, Peter wakes up in an old abandoned mansion, somewhere in England. He can´t remember why and how he got here, but soon he realises that the house is not as abandoned as it seems. While trying to find a way out of the house, Peter has to uncover the dark secrets of what has happened in this place...
