Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts offers a completely unique shooter, far better than its predecessors and absolutely noteworthy in the FPS genre as a whole. But players will need a love for stealth, slow gameplay, and the patience of a saint in order to properly enjoy it.

One thing is certain about the Sniper Ghost Warriors series: CI Games is slowly bringing this franchise, kicking and screaming as it is, into a niche of its own.

This is the best game in the series, and sniping in this game is very well done and a lot of fun. the missions can become repetitive though, and graphically the game is nothing to write home about.

The performance issues may hamper the immersion and fun in a world with a structure that only has so much to offer.

Ghost Warrior Contracts is an interesting stealth game with great long shooting mechanics and freedom to approach any mission, but it also has plenty of technical issues, from graphics to enemy AI.

Despite some major flaws this is CI Games’ best franchise entry. The exploration as well as the sniper action delivers the goods,

Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts has good ideas, but displays a number of drawbacks that can cause the work to choke a little, such as AI, camera movement or shooting sensation.

If you’re looking for an okay FPS sniping experience, SGW Contracts is not a bad choice, but it leaves a lot of room for growth.

Uninspiring AI combined with numerous technical issues makes for an occasionally frustrating experience.

Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts has some genuinely great sniping and exploration undermined by equally frequent technical hiccups. They've managed create a sharp, visually striking environment but the very ground you walk on can snag and frustrate you. When it works, you have a tense, patient experience but you need to be willing to overlook so many flaws.

Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts is the most average game I have ever played. Nothing it does is particularly memorable or amazing, but it isn't broken or bad either. The gameplay can be both enjoyable and clunky depending on the situation. The story is forgettable and environments aren't appealing. But, the game's open-ended levels and tick box-style gameplay make it a great game to play whilst listening to a podcast. Overall, it is a half-step forward for the franchise, but much like the previous games, there isn't much reason to check this entry out.

As a game specifically designed for a very distinct type of player, Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts delivers exactly what it promises, but people who are looking for a less hardcore, more faster-paced, less unreliable shooter may be better off with something a little more forgiving.

The game rewards a predefined amount for completing the quest, but players can also complete additional goals to receive a bonus. Each contract can be undertaken many times, which allows you to earn additional funds and try different ways to complete the mission and for me it's the best part of the game. I really rnnjoy trying different approaches to kill the targer. Full Review »

Glad they ditched the open world formula, because the maps in Contracts are well-designed and fun to explore. The new sniping system feels hard to master at the beginning, but when you figure it out, it's satisfying. I feel it's worth the price they're asking. Full Review »
