Snow Moto Racing Freedom is a disappointing follow-up to last year's surprisingly enjoyable Aqua Moto Racing Utopia. Although it features interesting open-ended tracks, the gameplay simply doesn't pull itself from racing mediocrity.

Snow Moto Racing Freedom offers a decent snow based arcade racer. There’s a good amount of content, local multiplayer for up to four people as well as online multiplayer. Unfortunately it lacks polish, the snow covered tracks all look the same and the racing isn’t exciting enough to make up for it.

In the game you have single player championships, split screen play, and online multiplayer. You can customize your rider and change the colors of your snowmobile. Both third person perspective and first person perspective while racing is available (i like the first person more). In the single player mode you have three main events and in those events smaller competitions with 3-5 races in each. Controls are precise, once you learn to use the slide function you can tackle the more difficult races. Technology wise the snow physics are very impressive. In many tracks there is a thick coat of fresh powder snow the snowmobiles make beautiful tracks in. The best part of this game is definitely the championships. You get great track variety and the races are often close, especially once you get further in the game one mistake can mean the difference between 1th and 6th place. Expand
