    Sonic Origins, as its name suggests, brings the Sonic franchise back to its good old days when we had no other concern in the whole world but to fire up our console and have some platformer fun.

    Considering that past Sonic collections offered more games for less money, it’s hard to say that this one is worth it. Ultimately, Sonic Origins is a well-polished wrapper for old games that were, until recently, available at much lower prices. Unless one is a real super fan, this is a collection that’s better-grabbed on sale.

    Very few changes were made from their now non-existent previous releases, so it’s high time Sega dusts off some more titles from its ‘90s library. The gorgeous cartoons in Origins give me hope, as Sega seems to be establishing some kind of Classic Sonic universe completely isolated from his modern counterpart. It’s just a shame that it’s a universe consisting of four games once again.

    I know a lot of my problems with Sonic Origins sound like nitpicks, but I adore these games and I want to see them restored and presented with joy and reverence as the masterpieces they are--not tainted with frivolous DLC that should be unlockables and lackluster presentation. Sonic Origins comes close to being the definitive classic Sonic experience, but stumbles just before the finish line.

    Rengeteg hiba található benne, a Sonic 3 zenéi (Carnival night, IceCap és a Launch base) zenéi borzalmasak. Kérünk egy ingyenes javító DLC-t!

    A pretty mediocre collection the pales in comparison to something like Sonic Mega Collection. While it does have a decent amount of extras, it's not enough to detract from the games themselves being near identical to every other version out there. The biggest downgrade is the removal of Micheal Jackson's music. While there has been a lot of conflict around the King of Pop's involvement with Sonic 3, it's still a shame that arguably some of the best Sonic songs had to be removed. Sonic Origins isn't awful, but it's pretty disappointing.… Expand

The Unlockables are also worthless and not worth the trouble. Not worth the money at all. Leave it to sega to screw up a collection consisting of 30 year old games.… Expand
