==Green Machines review below me is pretty dead on. except for his low score..but that's bitterness because we all wanted a tad more effort..its not polished up at all...
----I swear I'm gonna haveta become a millionare(X10) to get StasrWars Jedi Knight & Rogue Squadron REMASTERED...
    --BACK TO JEDI STARFIGHTER
==ID been looking for this on PS4 & XBOX1 in the online game store since Battlefront dropped.....all I could find was the crappycrap SuperStarWars on PS4. yeah yeah I loved SSW when it dropped back on some Nintendo..but Bounty HUnter & Jedi Starfighter were SPECIAL games with a special gameplay nostalgia...
----people who say the Prequels SUCKED are forgetting that they did-NOT suck,,they just weren't good enough...look at all the material we got from it.....

----JEDI STARFIGHTER has pretty simple & clean controls...its IDENTICAL to starwars Starfighter game with the Freoorin pirate NYM(Blue alien with twilek similar fleshy dreadlocks for hair..his voive returns and Adi Galia is the jedi star....her voice is brilliant...she nails it...something we all took for granted until Peter Dinklage voice acted Destinys Ghost really bad or really weird.. like he was angry and forced...

---So the force powers in Starfighter act like special weapons..other non jedi have missles or shields etc,,,Adi Galia uses force lightning & slows time and shield and I forget the last/forth power...
--basic wingmate controls are decent like attack my target or defend this cruiser or follow me etc...

===Story is mediocre but it is a cool story about WHY the trade federation is all neimodian and NO HUMANS...this storys bad guy is The Trade Federations #1 guy. a human..who count Dooku is training....

the game is great fun when (like me) youre playing A large game like Metal Gear on PS4 and Secret World MMO on PC..because you can pick up controller for 1-2 missions and be out & on to youre main game......
    -I paid $10 though :(

This time with trophy support and other PS4 goodies. Being rendered in 1080p does nothing to hide the game's age. The title is still dated visually. However this is still probably the best new way to experience the game. If you're coming in expecting new content though, you are likely to be disappointed. This really is just a PS2 era game with some up-rendering. Luckily it sill holds up well after all these years.

It's some of the best aerial dogfighting this side of old school Star Fox. That's not something I say lightly. Combat is smooth and incredibly satisfying. The controls are perfect and battles are a blast. It really does give you the feeling of being in a starfighter. This is some of the most enjoyable vehicular combat I hav ever experienced.

One thing that really surprised me about the game was it's dedication to storytelling. It's got great cutscenes and ties into Attack of the Clones well. There's a great deal of attention poured into it and not all of the characters are throwaway nobodies. It actually makes the Battle of Genosis feel much larger than what was portrayed onscreen in the movie. A perfect example of how satisfying the former EU of the series could be.

Admittedly though, I didn't really follow it too much or get really invested. The voice acting is genuinely good all around, but some characters are just too cartoony or over-the-top. That and some cheesy humor here and there took away from my interest in the plot.

However, very little could take away from my enjoyment of the gameplay. Some minor camera and control issues in tight areas were all I noticed, and given the scale of the game's conflicts they were barely an issue. There's plenty of extra content to sink your teeth into, and the cooperative gameplay can be greatly appreciated between you and a buddy.

With the exception of the visuals, this is a game that's aged remarkably well. With an excellent campaign and healthy amount of bonus content to keep you coming back, this is a fantastic option if you're looking for some top-notch space combat or just some classic Star Wars fun. The soundtrack alone is a treat for any fan. The expansion of the lore (even if it is possibly non-canon now) is just icing on the cake. It's even more worth it now that it's on the PS4 with trophies for a pretty great price. It's a steal for any Star Wars fan or those who love good space shooters.

The emulation quality is fairly good, and you can definitely tell there were some touch-ups done. The game features fun space combat, and on the PS2 the game would have been so far ahead when it comes to aerial combat games, but the game doesn't really hold up well with a kind of limited control system of the ship you pilot. I also noticed the hit boxes on enemies were huge, and if you just get the ship aimed anywhere in the vicinity and shoot 3-4 quick shots you got the hit. Overall the game is okay, and anyone who loves Star Wars or aerial combat games will have a good time, but I wouldn't expect this to blow you out of the park.
