PSVR feels like it was made for this simply because Superhot VR is indomitable proof of life for Virtual Reality as a gaming platform. If you have PSVR this needs to be your next game.

Superhot VR’s fantastically clever time-manipulating concept empowers you with the superhuman reflexes of a slow-motion action hero. Shattering waves of glass-like enemies while moving your face out of the path of incoming bullets is a thrilling challenge in both the cryptic story mode and the endless mode that follows.

SUPERHOT VR is a dazzling experience that manages to improve on what was already mind-bendingly intense. I didn’t think it was possible, but the developers have improved on SUPERHOT, cutting what little fat there was off of and leaving only the purest moments of intense violence. SUPERHOT was a completely bold and different addition to the world of FPSs, and SVR manages to do exactly the same thing to the virtual reality scene.

The VR version of Superhot is definitely the definitive one, able to exponentially increase the involvement and immersiveness of a gameplay associated with movements and the flow of time.

Not only is it one of the most unique experiences I have had in gaming this year, it might be one of the most unique I have had in my entire life.

Superhot VR is an absolutely fantastic experience that'll provide thrills for almost any gamer. That being said, the limited replay value and its many irritating aspects may make you wish that you took the blue pill instead.

Not the PlayStation VR killer app you might have hoped for, but still a clever and imaginative mix of shooter and puzzle game.

Very responsive controls built around the move controllers helps this games aiming and motion tracking a lot. The game itself is not very long, but the bonus challenges and the Endless mode really help this game earn its $25 price tag. I only experienced a few tracking issues, but I re-calibrated the game and had no issues afterwards. I wholeheartedly recommend this game to everyone who owns a VR headset. Expand

In this world I was bored, and had a measly 30$ to spend on psn. This game caught my eye pretty fast, as I bought it and it downloaded I discovered it was a PC port. This lowered my expectations. I thought that it would be a crappy console port (because we have so many of those) this game shocked me. I believe it is one of the greatest PSVR experiences to have. And once you complete the game it is just as fun to replay Expand

After playing the PC version a while back I was pretty excited to see this one come to VR. It exceeded my expectations and is the ultimate VRAfter playing the PC version a while back I was pretty excited to see this one come to VR. It exceeded my expectations and is the ultimate VR experience. It is just as challenging as the original, and the movements make you feel like such a badass when you take out 5 guys at once. There is some wonky tracking issues sometimes, but that is an issue with the headset's tech rather than the game. Ultimately this goes down as the killer app of the PSVR, and even gives you a nice workout after a good session. Expand

Intuitive controls that involve players side-stepping, ducking, dodging, firing and throwing objects at oncoming enemies. It's a rush to play and one of the highlights of PSVR. The only thing holding this game back is its short length -- but it does have a "forever mode" for those who want to test their skills. Expand

You almost feel as if you are in the Matrix with the time warp and how you can use your weapons. It's also quite thrilling as you battle multiple enemies at once. The only thing that I would point out is that the game is super quick. It's not that long of a game, wish it was. Expand

A great game to start in VR, but is only about 2-3 hours long and gameplay can get repetitive.

However, PSVR is really, really, really, really bad at detecting specific motions that the game heavily relies on. For instance, there are a bunch of objects lying around that you can throw, that you MUST throw to survive. The problem, you can't. You can fling your hand as hard as you can, so hard that it hurts your arm, and PSVR can't detect it. I tried throwing slow, throwing fast, throwing soft, throwing hard, etc etc. PSVR can't detect any of it. You throw hard and the item falls slowly to the floor exactly below it. You pick it up, you throw, it falls to your feet. You pick it up, you throw, it falls to your feet. It would be a great game if it worked. Expand
