May 25, 2018Despite being very improvable in all its aspects, Tennis World Tour is today the best realistic actual tennis game today. That doesn't mean that is better than Top Spin 4 (2011).
-
May 27, 2018This game has a quite solid foundation, although it’s clearly a game in progress. We believe it can be a great simulator, but at the moment it needs some work.
-
Jun 26, 2018After all these years of waiting, tennis fans deserved something better than this shallow and buggy pseudo-realistic sport experience.
-
May 29, 2018Quotation forthcoming.

Jun 11, 2018The career mode is pretty entertaining but that's about the only quality of this game. Controlling your player leaves a lot to be desired for one. The lack of other modes, horrible commentary and the lack of an online option further put a final nail in the coffin; Tennis World Tour feels like an unfinished, rushed product. A shame.

Jun 4, 2018You could reductively describe tennis as a sport where you hit the ball back and forth. That would be unfair, since it strips away the strategy and physical feats – which is exactly what Tennis World Tour does to the sport. In real-life tennis, when you're so frustrated that you yell and throw your racket like a brat, it's decorous for your opponent to ignore you and tighten the strings on their racket. At least the A.I. in this game mutely shares a sense of embarrassment, hoping that the moment passes.

Jun 12, 2018I understand that release windows are a big thing that helps boost sales maximizes exposure. I’m sure that’s the reasoning behind Tennis World Tour’s release in this state because I can’t think of any other reason a developer would willingly release such a debacle.
