    I'm less hesitant, however, to say this: unless you played the first Book of Unwritten Tales, you'll probably want to avoid The Book of Unwritten Tales 2, since it's not designed with series — or even adventure game — novices in mind.

    The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 is a fairly standard point and click game, but it is also a wonderfully written and fundamentally enjoyable adventure that will appeal to both genre veterans, and people simply looking to a good, clean, fun little title.

    The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 is big, even for this genre. The length comes from the classic, old gameplay which is a disappointment. Other point-and-clicks did modernize. The story is funny, but the characters are uninteresting and the dialogue sections are way too long.

    Even if the controls on the PS4 weren’t so terrible and I could have finished the game on the console, the story and puzzles in the rest of The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 still would have brought the game down.

    This is one of the best classic point&click games I played in years. I think it is even better than the previous part. Sure, the first game was fresh and charmed me with lovable characters and original humor, but the second one does exactly the same but does a slightly better job with the story. Be prepared for some serious plot twists through the game.
    The game still shines the most when it comes to the humor. The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 makes fun of RPG games and fantasy movies. You will be doing generic fetch quests, you will visit a classic D&D tavern and you will be a teacher in a Wizard School!
