The Crew does a lot of things right. Not only does it give you a huge game world to explore, but the ability to change up the whole experience by tuning your car differently is an excellent addition to Ivory Tower’s ambitious racer, allowing you to take one car and do so much more than just a mere race. Apart from the microtransactions you cannot go wrong here by jumping behind the dashboard of your favourite car and taking off into the sunset across the desert.

For all its structural successes, The Crew is also slightly bland and lacks of a deep control scheme or mission variety.

The Crew on the PS4 is a highly ambitious game that succeeds on some levels and fails on others that results in a standard racer.

Technical issues and shallow multiplayer waste the fascinating open world racer created by Ivory Tower.

It may have the prospects to become a great MMO racer, but at the moment The Crew is not able to deliver ever a fragment of what Reflections promised it would offer with this racer.

The Crew offers lots of unique road trips in a gigantic world full of content. But unfortunately we could not overcome the technical issues, sloppy graphics, bad driving behavior and other flaws this game has. It is awful to see all that potential go to waste like this.

Such is the slow death of The Crew, a foundation of a serviceable racer, weighted down with the worst tendencies of AAA "added value" game design. There's a good game buried alive inside it, and when they finally plant the headstone, the cause of death will be chiseled as "trying too hard."

You enjoy every moment, drive with people and get them into your crew. Things available to do in this game never ends.

Game has negative sides too. Not perfect graphics(but definitely good for an open world game). Handling is not great as default, but if you tweak it, you can make it good too.

Cons: Bugs, server crashing, does not have lights/neons under cars, police is too OP and a police car is like a rock who wheights 100 tons

So i give it an 8 because what i listed at cons they could fix, right now game is about a 6 or so.
The game doesn't deserve 10, neither a 0. I think 0s give people who where expecting to play the game cracked, those i call them haters...

I'm not sure what I was expecting from this game but once i had played it i was pleased and disappointed in equal measures. Whilst the map isI'm not sure what I was expecting from this game but once i had played it i was pleased and disappointed in equal measures. Whilst the map is vast and rather beautiful there are just too many repetitive skills to do, the story is nothing short of a joke and I've lost count of the amount of times if tried to join my friends in a "crew" and failed meaning i finished the story mode just by doing solo jobs. Some of the cut scenes are very well presented and look amazing whilst others look like they are from an early release of a PS3 game.

Overall this is an enjoyable game but the mixture of quality in visuals and game play will annoy you no end. I will change my review rating once Ubisoft/Ivory Tower patch the game.

Well the verdict isThe Crew was a highly ambitious game as it provided you with an open world America to explore with eight of your friends. Well the verdict is that The Crew is a mediocre racing game. At its best it's a nice open world game with awesome customization options to gear up. At its worst, the lags and glitches along with the Arcady car handling are what make this game less ambitious than it set out to be. It's a rent if you want to explore because if you are a die hard Forza fan, it might hold your attention for 1 hour and nothing more. It's not a serious racing game and if updates come and it improves altogether, this is one to look out for. Until then, it's a mediocre game. Expand

The first problem I have with this game are the inclusion of micro-transactions. If I pay decent money for a game, the LAST thing I expect is micro-transactions, it's unacceptable. I drive around in cars which don't feel good, the best racing games make the car feel alive, like you're actually driving in a Lamborghini or a Ferrari. On this, it feels like an empty box with two wheels. Not to mention you drive around a lifeless terrain, filled with nothingness. I just don't get it, such a poor game, could of been so much better. I'm not buying another Ubisoft game again after this and Watch dogs. Expand
