With its simplicity, cuteness and overall well crafted gameplay The Smurfs: Mission Vileaf reminded us some of the best 3D platformers of the past that have become so rare these days. If you are in a search for a game that you can play with your child, you should definitely check this out.

Thanks to a colourful, well-designed world, challenging platforming sections and engaging gameplay, The Smurfs – Mission Vileaf solidifies itself as an example of one of the best children’s franchise tie-in games we’ve seen in recent years. It might be a bit too challenging for younger players by themselves, but it means it’s just as fun for adults, too. This is a commendable 3D platforming adventure that players of all ages will enjoy.

The Smurfs: Mission Vileaf is a surprisingly solid platform game, with fun and varied mechanics, which always avoid being repetitive. Brainy, Chef, Smurfette and Hefty's adventure are sure to captivate a lot of kids, and please the adults that grew up watching the little blue beings. The true Gargamel of this title is its bad optimization for PS4 and the clear temporal (perhaps financial) limitations.

The Smurfs: Mission Vileaf is a bright and colourful adventure suitable for all ages and skill levels. As a platformer, the areas have fun designs and provide a good variety of interactive elements to keep the game feeling fresh. While the crafting mechanics in the game miss the mark, Mission Vileaf is still enjoyable to play and is sure to warm any Smurfy player’s heart.

The Smurfs: Mission Vileaf is a surprisingly enjoyable platforming game. The relatively low development budget is noticeable in some ways, but the foundation is solid enough to make it easy to ignore some lack of polish. With charming graphics and a gameplay loop that is as entertaining as challenging, it is a colorful adventure that is perfect for the whole family.

Would have been a better game if there was options to skip forward to enable game to continue. Apart from that a nice non violent game Expand
