Years later, a handful of survivors begin to rebuild civilisation, but their endeavours are hampered by “the Izverg”, giant beasts formed from the residue of negativity and nightmares that now roam the land. Fortunately, engineers discover the ability to develop “projection clones” – new life forms capable of venturing deep into the Void in search of preserved human DNA. It is with these clones that mankind begins the long journey back to its former glory … Expand

A multiplayer game that may be different than any other game out there, but still capable of engaging gamers to this empty world.

An original, easily identifiable game, with the aim to show marxist society in a way no other product has. The Tomorrow Children is an interesting social experiment that wants to test teamwork and communication without a language. Even so, along the way it loses enjoyment and surprise factor. Q-Games Studio must launch updates and new content if they are aiming to get a solid fanbase of avid gamers. As for now, it's just a powerful idea with huge potential if they know how to take advantage of it.

The Tomorrow Children has a unique atmosphere and great ideas, like the cooperation without communication. The early hours will catch us, but the experience ends up stagnating. Original, but not for everyone.

The Tomorrow Children is weird, wonderful and oddly hollow, lacking neither the addictive hooks to keep you playing, nor the sense of community to bond you to your town. It’s worth a look for its unique visuals and strange, slightly sinister atmosphere, but don’t be surprised if your interest wanes after the first few hours.

Weird, vague and repetitive, that is the best way to describe this game. The style and atmosphere are awesome, but everything feels like work. It could have been a communist version of Animal Crossing, but at this moment it is definitely too boring to reach that status.

A visually appealing world, but TTC fails to give any meaningful reason to want to spend time there. [Nov 2016, p.79]

Good looking, but frustrating, lengthy, messy and ultimately trivial.

It's very unique and the art style is awesome. It's sort of stoic and creepy in a refreshingly cool way, if you're into that. I would wait for free to play release comes out. I bought it because I was able to get in on the closed beta and liked it when I got to play it back then. It does a little bit of a better job than in the beta when it comes to explaining things a little better.

At first, while everything is shiny and nothing is repetitive, The Tomorrow Children passes as quite a unique little gem of a game. That is until you realise there is nothing beyond the first time, nothing new comes to life and you're doomed to repeat one of three routines for all of the rest of eternity. It's cheap, it's cheerful, but without some intervention it's going to die a very quick death. Expand

Basically and in three words, it is Communism: The Game.
What does that mean? The game will be Free-to-Play in the coming months, you're part of the society and start working as soon as you start the game. There is a town you live in alongside others, you'll get to work daily, gather resources, transfer material, store material for the benefit of the town. Everyone in the town will use the same resources to build town buildings, housing, and defense weapons to contribute to the wealth of the society. Monsters will attack the town and you with others should help defend the town. Your ultimate goal is to build the town and have the maximum amount of citizens.

There will be thousands of towns, you can create your own, but the only thing that matters is how the society (other players online) work together to build it. Since Earth is no more, you all live in the void, and the ultimate goal is to rebuild society.

I like the idea a lot, and the game deliver it well, so well that it feels boring and repetitive. The gameplay is the same and nothing changes. Mine resources, transfer them back to the town, get your Ration Coupons (Game Currency) from Ministry of Labour to buy equipment so you mine resources and so on. It will be fun for few hours but I'm not sure what else will make it last longer.

Graphics are unique, the characters are wooden puppets (A great euphemism if you ask me) and the sound design takes everything from the Soviet Union, it makes you feel you're part of it and creepy at times.

Lastly, it is going to be Free-to-Play, so you can play it for an hour or two and decide for yourself. I recommend it, it is going to be fun for a while. *Disclosure: A paid version of the game was provided by Sony Interactive Entertainment for review.

I had high hopes for this game, but after spending some time with it, it's not really a game. It's a dystopian simulator with little to no funI had high hopes for this game, but after spending some time with it, it's not really a game. It's a dystopian simulator with little to no fun to be had. It simply feels like a chore. The only redeeming quality is the art style. Outside of that, it plays like a game, looks like a game, but it's ultimately a test of patience before you uninstall. On a positive note, it didn't crash. Expand
