The Walking Dead and Telltale are both suffering from increasing fatigue, but this season’s penultimate episode helps this particular story soldier on towards a potentially satisfying, if predictable, conclusion.

The Walking Dead A New Frontier started as a good game, but does not convince with the latest episode. While characters like David and Javier are well-written, this is a predictable slow paced episode. Episode 4 is the least entertaining episode so far.

Easily the weakest episode of the season so far, with a meandering plot, too much attention to the least interesting characters and a severe lack of focus.

The weakest episode in The Walking Dead: A New Frontier thus far, Thicker Than Water is paced awkwardly and doesn't spend enough time exploring the relationships that really matter. A good conclusion sets up the finale well, and there are some standout scenes over the course of the instalment. But an underdeveloped villain and some hard to believe exchanges make this a forgettable episode overall.

It took four episodes, but things finally happened and are at least mildly interesting.

An episode that feels way too flat and uninteresting.

If only this innovative ending summary could have been attached to a better game. The Walking Dead: Season One was a bonafide masterpiece, and we’ve somehow gone from that, to something I wish would just stay dead.

Probably one of the weaker episodes of the season so far. The first half of the episode is very slow and not a lot seems to be going on. And then the second half of the episode is pure chaos, however, the ending of episode 4 sets up the final episode beautifully and I can't wait to play. Expand

Won't even start, just spins on a loading screen indefinitely. Tried clearing the cache to no avail so now i had to delete the entire series and re download episode 1 and this. Telltale's horrendous QA shouldn't fly anymore. They're a terrible developer that rips off their fans with broken products. I'll never again touch a Telltale product. Expand
