The best way to describe the gameplay in Titanfall 2 is fluid and precise.

Titanfall 2 is everything Titanfall should have been – storified, robust, and sufficiently multiplatform. The real series starts here, and I’m surprised at how nothing at all feels phoned in or tacked-on.

Intelligent, creative, and never less than thrilling, Titanfall 2 finally realises the series' true potential with verve and polish.

One of the best first person shooters of the generation, with significant improvements in depth and longevity – and even a half decent story mode.

Ace online action combines with a truly rollicking campaign in one of the year's shootiest surprises. [Christmas 2016, p.66]

The story lacks depth, but the connection between the player and his Titan is worth the journey. The multiplayer, however, is almost worth the price tag on its own.

The addition of a single-player campaign was a huge positive for this series, especially due to the bizarre twists and turns it takes throughout. In a year filled with outstanding shooters in both the single and multiplayer fronts, Titanfall 2 does just enough to prove it can hang with the others, even if it is re-treading old ground.

For me this is the game of the year 2016. Fast paced, super fun multiplayer shooter with a brilliant single player campaign.

Multiplayer has alot of variation and great maps - The fact that game has no seasonpass and the dlc will be free is 100% win-win.

It’s a fun, interesting, exhilarating story that has good variety in the missions and good character development which sneaks up on you at the end. The guns feel great, and playing as a Titan feels weighty and powerful, as it should.

The only negative I have is the campaign’s length, and for that, I docked it a point. If it were a few missions longer, it would have been a 10 from me.

If you compare with COD black ops 3/infinity this last two games are just bored, COD is like you run like crazy and try to have very fast reflexes (thats all), TITANFALL is like you can move very fast, its like you can hide, you can stealth, you can jump like crazy, you can play the game in very different ways....and be succesfull. DLC (all new MAPS) are included as part of the original game...so all new maps are FREE. This is amazing....once again the game is the next levels on Multiplayer shooters....COD is going backwards.... I hope TITANFALL continue as a franchise in the future...the game deserve it!! Expand

The campaign is surprisingly engrossing and invigorating, standing out from the opposition and creating an experience that sticks in your mind. And while it’s not perfect by any means, the multiplayer continues to delight in its frantic, fast-paced action and multiple modes. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. i saw a metric f#@k ton of people saying this game is worth playing and due to it being now on steam and on sale i decided to pick it up and... i now need to deal with a growing addiction.
here is everything good about the game:
+ this game is unique in it's game play in every single point whether it be the fast movement of the pilots + or the sheer size and strength of the titans
+ not a single micro transaction in sight in and or loot box for weapons, upgrades or even skins
+ everything is just a no **** policy when it comes to monetizing the game, you want a skin? then pay + for it with money or buy it by playing the game and earn credits.
+ the story is cliche' but very impactful on the player ( why did you sacrifice yourself BT ;_;)
+ the map design and game modes are well thought out at the very least and invoke a feeling of joy from + discovering a new way to traverse the maps.
+ each pilot design and titan are designed in a way to make you powerful at certain aspects but have + weaknesses in other
it has an insanely high skill ceiling but is fairly welcoming to new players
    the cons:
some extremely minor stuttering on windows 10
    some weapons are somewhat imbalanced

honestly this game is so fun and i can see this game having an extremely good Esports scene and i am shocked it hasn't gotten it.
the only reason people give this game bad reviews are either stupid that do not know anything about the game or people who are keeping the score low enough so that it won't leave every other game in the dust
