Where The Bees Make Honey has some interesting ideas with presentation and puzzles. However, the persistent high level of frustration I felt with trying to navigate the majority of the adventure because of issues out of my control completely overshadowed any of the good stuff.
This is a 3D puzzle game in which you have to play vignettes in order to reach the puzzles. Creating team dabbled with every type of game genre they could have, and created this Frankengame.
Pros: - Great game
- Interesting short story
- Fun level design (I've never seen a game quite like it)
Cons:
-Short game
I really enjoyed the game. Although short, it tells the story **** who is trying to escape her job and daydream of her childhood.
Where the bees make honey
Cute but infuriating
Where the bees make honey I a game full of variety..
You play as a woman with a desk job reminicibng about her days as a child after a storm knocks out the power
The first thing I noticed was how awful this game looks, it looks like an early ps3 game with all its grain, and it feels very janky to play from start to finish…
however I was willing to look fast this for what I believed was going to be a charming experience.. and I wasn’t disappointed.. kinda
This game is very short, can be beaten in less than 50 minutes and isn’t really much ****
youll go back and forth between a quik little puzzle of grab these honey combs and something random..
This however is a very easy platinum, that is if a tooprhy doesn’t glitch for you like it did for me after my 2nd playthrough,,,
Sadly there are only like 4 puzzle to complete by rotating the screen, but that’s fine with me because the puzzles were my least favorite part…
however I did appreciate them being there in between all of the randomness.. youll be playing as a remote controlled car, youll do a little Halloween game, but the most infurating part of this game is the rabbit section..
its nearly unplayable..
youll want to rip your… hare out.. pun intended
this definitely brought down my entire opinion of the game…
otherwise this a a cute game.. it isn’t really special.. nothing profound, but its an emjoyable most of the time easy platinum…
I give where the bees make honey
a 5.5/10
Where The Bees Make Honey is a frustrating and boredom-inducing puzzle game that suffers from an unthinkable amount of technical issues, poor controls, unclear objectives, and bad level design. Any heart that is put into the narrative is wiped away by these issues and made me want to quit playing, minutes after starting the game up.
Where the Bees Make Honey really is that bad: if I had to choose between playing this game again, and never again playing anything ever again, it would be a legitimately difficult decision. It’s nothing short of an abomination, a joyless slog of a game with no redeeming qualities whatsoever — except, perhaps, for that fleeting moment of relief when you delete it from your system storage. I truly detest it, and if I could erase every trace of it from my memory, I would do so in a second.
story is pretty cliche. the graphics are about the only part i liked, the puzzles were just terrible. impossible in some parts to even see what your doing. should have had a better controller scheme for this type of puzzle.
