Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX still remains a difficult platformer, but also an extremely varied and modernized one, with grace and competence in terms of graphics and sound.

A praiseworthy work of revival of this classic. It updates and makes many of its original features better, but that's not enough to compensate its original flaws: basically, a brutal, unfair difficulty that may make you despair.

Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX is a fine enough remaster if you have fond memories of the original. It looks and sounds great, but stumbles in its translation and will likely do more to frustrate newcomers than convince them the Master System classic was any good.

Both true to its original foundation and distant in its changes, Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX is arguably not the remake fans of the character could hope for. Some will think the progression is out of date, and they won't be wrong, but the biggest problem is imprecise controls and collisions with enemies. With its very colorful production and quality musical themes, the experience remains correct, but less striking than expected.

Alex Kidd is a tough platformer that lacks a lot of the user-friendly features we have all grown accustomed to. Back in my day, games used to be tough – or so Alex Kidd would have you believe anyway. For such a difficult game that is pretty linear, it is surprising that so many of us hold Alex in such high regard, and it is largely why I would only recommend this one to fans of the original.

Fantástico! Os mais novos podem não curtir, mas para quem jogava nos anos 80 e 90, esse jogo foi um baita de um presente! Obrigado!
