    Blood Bowl III is a welcome return by the licence after eight years away. Unforgivingly harsh on beginners to the series perhaps, but fans of Warhammer's take on gridiron will be well catered for here. Those new to the series but familiar with the Madden games might struggle to start with but once you find your feet, you'll have fun too.

    Although there is still a strong fan base and a great concept, the game's completion is so poor that it is hard to believe that its release has been delayed for almost two years. In-game purchase elements that no one can understand further lower the value of the game.

    With legacy that Blood Bowl has, it was presumed that the sequel would be better than the predecessor. Unfortunately that is not the case with this game. Unfortunate fumble, I need my Rat Ogre one more time.

    There's a great way to enjoy the video game version of Blood Bowl: buy the second chapter, which sadly surpasses its successor in every possible way. Blood Bowl 3 manages to give some satisfaction in multiplayer mode but in general we are talking about an unstable experience, plagued by significant bugs and equipped with a single player component that we just can't recommend to fans of the series.

    It's disappointing that Blood Bowl 3 had a messy launch and many bugs, as well as predatory microtransaction systems and a bad UI. However, it's good to know that deep down there is a good core game despite the sloppy and rocky start and we hope that future patches will improve the issues that have arisen.

Fans of strategic games will get their money's worth with "Blood Bowl 3". Nevertheless, you should bring along a lot of time for the game in order to understand all things and not get lost. How are players even supposed to learn? The AI often takes extended time to make decisions. The user interface is horrible on a television, clearly designed for a monitor in front of your face. The UI also is horrible with a gamepad which combined with such short time limits makes for a horrible experience. I love Blood Bowl. I deeply regret buying this game.… Expand
