While this is a good game I just think that it’s not as good as FFVII Remake I think it uses the same engine as the remake but the story is also a bit boring but not only that Rick Gomez doesn’t even voice Zack Fair not to much of a big deal but as a person who played the psp version it feels weird but overall it’s a not bad game you should play it if you want to know the Final Fantasy VIIWhile this is a good game I just think that it’s not as good as FFVII Remake I think it uses the same engine as the remake but the story is also a bit boring but not only that Rick Gomez doesn’t even voice Zack Fair not to much of a big deal but as a person who played the psp version it feels weird but overall it’s a not bad game you should play it if you want to know the Final Fantasy VII story Expand

    Activating combat mode
    Conflict resolved
    Cutscene

Over and over and over again, graphics are worse than remake the game constantly interrupts the flow of your gameplay with cutscenes. Mission areas are empty lifeless. The game feels as if it is a phone game.

Coming from a person who did not play the original game, this game is at the high end of the OK spectrum. it is good but nothing special. it is way inferior to FFVII remake. I don't see why Zack is a beloved character as he is way to corny. the game is too easy even on higher difficulties. actually, the difficulties of the missions from 9 stars and above only comes from the fact that theComing from a person who did not play the original game, this game is at the high end of the OK spectrum. it is good but nothing special. it is way inferior to FFVII remake. A must play for Final Fantasy 7 die hard fans, a hard pass for the others. Great story, explains lots of things about the main game but adds a lot of stuff that don't really make sense. For Completionists: Lots of grind, lots of missables and lots of rng stuff. Overall a very easy but tedious platinum to get. If you don't like wasting your time, I'd suggest to pass on this one.

Esperaba algo más de este juego. Es un juego interesante, pero no me convencieron. Mucho a mejorar, sin embargo, el combate sigue siendo interesante y hay variedad. Juego jugable pero sin ser nada extraordinario.

It was quite fun in a braindead sort of run around killing enemies while listening to podcasts sort of way and there were some boss battles which kept me on my toes and were quite fun. There were however some boss battles.. particularly the second last one.. which just drag on wayyy too long. So for the gameplay it was solid but not amazing.

The part where it fell down for me was the story. It's great when it's something from FF7 but that makes up about 5% of the story. Mostly it centers around new characters and some of the dialogue... oh boy... it's bad.. it's real bad. The story just kind of sucks.

If you haven't played FF7 i'd stay well clear because this is not a good way to experience Cloud's backstory. Wait for remake part 2 or play the original ff7!

played the original and if you are a final fantasy fan this might be worth playing. As a full price game it's a bit much to ask. $20 seems about right. The improvements are nice and the 15 hours worth of story are decent. The side missions will keep you going for much longer.

It looks good but it's still a portable game. The story it tells is meh, it didn't feel like it was necessary to add anything to Final Fantasy 7 and didn't add enough to make it worthwhile to play. If you need something to scratch that nostalgia itch, give it a shot. Otherwise, it can fairly safely be missed by all but the biggest fans of the original FF7.

All the hype & glory that you were waiting for... is available in another game. I had already saw about 80% of the game before release. So as it officially released, I had no desire to play it because the only strategy you need as far as fighting is to rapidly press square. No incentive to use magic or fight defensively. Certainly not a remake. Not sure if remaster is what it should beAll the hype & glory that you were waiting for... is available in another game. A neat remaster that sometimes clashes with its PSP origins. More often than not, it comes out on top, but it feels like it could have broken more limits. [Issue#23, p.74]

As a prequel to one of gaming’s most beloved classics, Crisis Core did a great job of enriching the original game’s world as an action RPG on the PSP. This remaster not only enhances the visuals but also improves on many of the original’s shortcomings. While there still are some inconveniences, altogether Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion is an exhilarating experience from start to finish.

A beautiful looking remaster which doesn’t manage to significantly upgrade its source material in aspects other than graphics. Only faithful Final Fantasy VII fans who didn’t get to play it on the PSP will leave truly satisfied.
