Exodemon goes beyond its original objective of paying homage to retro FPS games, being able to be at the shelf with them. Its gameplay is faithful to its source at the same time that it manages to not feel outdated.
The level design is occasionally interesting, but sadly it’s not enough to make this worth investigating – especially when superb ports of Doom and Quake are already available on the system.

Summary Possessed by an alien entity, slash and tear countless enemies with your monstrous claws, you must find a way to escape the planet before you lose what's left of your humanity. Exodemon is a game inspired by the 90s FPS golden age.
