F1 22 takes another step forward and surpasses everything we saw in the previous game, better graphics level and new modes to improve the experience. Codemasters and EA Sports have put their best into this game. I can say that F1 22 is one of the most outstanding racing games that have been released this year.
F1 2022 retains most of what made the previous game had, adding just enough to to satisfy most fans. With more time in the oven, it could have been nearly perfect. Still, the fear of EA control lingers.

I love the new driving system and the new cars look absolutely beautiful in the game, I drive on steering wheel so the overall experience has improved and it feels harder to spin out then in the previous game, I’m still getting used to the new structure but I like it, I would say that the f1 life part of the game is completely useless and has no depth behind it everyone has the same house and the customisation is very limited there are also very few super cars out at the moment and you can’t drive full laps around the circuit in the car

This game is great in my opinion. A step up from the 2021.
The new immersion features are great and the graphics are good. I love the shape of the new vehicles also.
One of the best things I have noticed is that on this game you can really tell when the tyres are cold, when on an out lap you will struggle and will have to get some heat back into them, a great feature.
I like the music which now plays in the menu, much better than the same theme over and over. F1 Life is a cool feature, I don’t see the hate for it. It’s nice to have something else you can do and to visit friends places is cool, I wish there was a few more customisation options for the apartment and a few more supercars tho. But it wouldn’t negatively effect an experience and it’s actually a good bit of fun.
Overall this is a really good entry and if your an F1 fan I would recommend this 100%.

With exciting new developments in the sport F1 22 has done well to keep up with the rules and regulations as well as giving players plenty of options to play with off the grid...If you’re intimately familiar with some of the quality of life changes introduced in F1 21,then the latest addition will give existing players plenty to look forward to and newcomers can comfortably settle into the seat before taking on more complex maneuvers and adjustments in their own time.
With prettier graphics and notably improved physics, F1 22 impresses right out of the gate. Last year's enjoyable story mode is unfortunately gone, and instead we get to play F1 star with luxury watches and clumsy supercars. What a downgrade. Fortunately, the presentation, the career mode and not least the driving experience are better than ever.
Playing in VR for the first time is a thrill, but the other new features haven’t been implemented well.
A fine entry to the popular F1 series, F1 22 brings some new things to the table, but suffers from control issues and a lack of things to do.
F1 22 is technically stunning, and that, combined with the chance to drive this year’s cars on this year’s tracks, should make it irresistible to Formula One fans. As long as they manage to ignore the egregious F1 Life.

In general I like the new cars! So the look is great already. The handling is also awesome, you have to be really sensitive on the throttle now in slow speed corners. I am pretty sure it is hard to drive with a controller only. Further I like the new tracks. Finally the replays are working as well in 60fps on the PS5 which wasn`t the case last year. Besides that nothing new really. Career Mode is the same, which was not that bad but not that exciting. AI seems to make some mistakes now. But further the AI seems a bit broken and it is tough to find the correct level of driving difficulty. Normally I checked in GP mode where I am and transferred this to my career, but this is not valid anymore. When I am close to my teammate in GP mode, he beats me by 0,500 + in career . So this is a bit annoying.
So all in all, sound great, graphic slidely improved, great handling. Besides no huge steps forward.
F1 Life is a gimmic for people who need it, but nothing to the game. I like the Supercars though, something different.

First the Good:
The car handeling and AI are good, so are the updated tracks.
Graphics are serviceable, but noticeably aged. The Bad: F1 Life and Podium Pass are nothing but a platform for microtransactions.
Including a weekly reminder to visit the in-game store, so you can play dress up with your virtual driver, in your virtual house.. paid for with very real money.
The super cars handle terrible and their modes are limited.
Classics F1 cars are still absent for some reason. - No red flags.
Sadly, Spa is not one of the updated tracks.
The rest of the game is mostly a copy-paste job from F1 2021.
And a lot of bugs on release! Conclusion:
There is some solid racing with the AI, but EA is obviously targeting the Tiktok generation, instead of F1 fans with this iteration. I’m not against paid DLC, but as a F1 fan, I’d rather see some classic cars and tracks instead of shoes and rugs.

Vorne weg: ich liebe rennsimulationen und versenke in meinem Racing-Rig teilweise Stunden auf der Strecke. Allerdings bin ich von F1 22 maßlos enttäuscht worden. Grundsätzlich weiß man was man bekommt. Jedoch frage ich mich Jahr für Jahr, wohin die Entwicklungszeit hinwandert. Die fahrphysik ist so dermaßen an der Realität vorbei, dass selten wirklich F1 feeling aufkommt. Die Autos mit der größten Downforce der Welt fliegen hier bei Höchstgeschwindigkeiten aus der Kurve, als wären es Autos auf einer Carrera-Bahn. Von der super aggressiven KI ganz zu schweigen. Rennen ohne Rückspülfunktion können dadurch schnell frustrierend werden.
Die optischen Spielereien mit der Erstellung seines Charakters und Lifestyle-Artikeln hätte man sich in meinen Augen sparen können. Es handelt sich dabei wohl eh nur um einen Köder, um den Season-Pass zu kaufen und Ingame-Käufe anzukurbeln. Wären hier wenigstens wieder die Legends Cars fahrbar könnte ich darüber noch hinweg sehen.
Ich weigere mich in Zukunft weiterhin diese Form der Spiele a la FIFA zu schlucken. Man muss sich immer wieder vor Augen führen, dass das Studio 12 Monate Zeit zur Entwicklung hat. Nach wie vor sind die Strecken nicht lasergemessen. Und die optischen Veränderungen der Autos würden auch eher einen Patch abdecken als jedes mal einen Vollpreis-Titel auf den Markt zu bringen.
