Square Enix’s direction with FF7 Remake has impressed me with how the extra worldbuilding and tweaks to the plot have enhanced a game I already cherished. I can’t wait to play the second part, and this DLC was a great morsel to tide me over until then.
While some of the improvements may not seem noticeable, the ones that are, are great. Saves from the PS4 can be saved and imported into this new version using in-game options, so you can carry over your progress and trophies if you decide to jump back into the game. Coupled with the new INTERmission DLC, fans get to live in the city of Midgar for another four hours or so and play with another character as we eagerly await news on when we can experience the rest of Remake’s story in future releases.

Teared up, loved it even more than the remake itself. Combat system was super fun and bosses were finally amazing, music was 5/5! Keep doing it like this Square!

Little gets in the way of Yuffie's debut to the Final Fantasy VII Remake project. Despite her one-dimensional companion, she takes the foreground and never lets it go. Thrilling enhancements to combat and interesting narrative twists and connections make INTERmission worth playing.
Though Intermission reuses assets from the base game, it offers enough new and exciting material to more than justify the price of admission for Final Fantasy fans.
In every way, Intermission is simply more of the same - just with an exciting new character to get to grips with.
The DLC features Yuffie Kirasagi, a 16 years old ninja, whose immature attempts to make people take her seriously are both cute and comical. In combat she offers a perfect combination of agility and power. I wish her adventure was longer than 4-6 hours, introduced a new hub, and expanded the main story somehow. [08/2021, p.81]
Intermission has some good qualities, such as the battle system, the music and it looks great. However, it does not offer much new.
worth it and glad to play this game again. so much memories and nostalgia within this seventh game in the series.

Not a bad experience, pretty good I must tell but for the price of 1/3 of the game it gives you 1/6 of the games length. DLC is around 6-7 hours long with the same slums + 1 big dungeon. Yuffie plays good but somehow I didn't feel her as good as I felt main characters in battle. Last boss fight is pretty epic but others are not. Could recommend this on sale, maybe worth 10-15 EUR/USD.

o, charging $20 for a DLC that can be completed in around 3 hours is pure greed. If you want to complete the optional filler content (collect posters and the board game) you can add another 1-2 hours for a total of 4-5 hours.
If you don't care about the optional side-activites, the value for money is very low here. Speaking of side activitites, the breaking boxes mini-game etc, I think the whole thing just felt too "arcadey". As for the story, it's basically just a small back-story about Yuffie, but it doesn't take the main story forward in any way. The final boss was cool, but the rest of Chapter 2 was basically just a gauntlet of fighting.

this 2 hours worthwhile content, a waiste of time its way too short and the soldier training side mission has to be one of the worst most unfair waiste of time in the history of gaming
this is not worth the price, i regret buying this because of how short it was
