I’m going to assume that most Tekken fans are no longer on the fence after seeing the overwhelmingly positive coverage of Tekken 8 over the last few weeks. Truth be told – Tekken 8 has earned that praise and more. Its immersive combat is fluid, cinematic, yet visceral. It sticks to its serious yet goofy roots through utilizing imaginative character archetypes and flat-out silly character customization. Its Special Style dramatically simplifies Tekken 8’s combat for new players to get them up to speed against series veterans like me. If you’re new to the series, Tekken 8 is the fighting game you should play this year. If you’re still deciding between which fighting game to play this year, Tekken 8’s combat and mechanics are the most satisfying yet. I highly recommend Tekken 8 – it’s helped 2024 start off on the right foot.
Tekken 8 is yet another great chapter in a series incapable of making missteps. The new mechanics change the skin of the game and, although the historical detractors will not find particular reasons to change their minds (the famous "volleyball simulator" for the emphasis placed on juggles), all the others will find an incredibly deep game, which will accompany them for several years to come. Who knows, maybe thanks to Ghosts even those who are completely resistant to online gaming will find the courage to take their first steps in a new world.

Better than Tekken 7 in nearly every aspect. Incredible graphics, great gameplay, entertaining story mode, innovative features, large roster, fun offline modes, etc.

Tekken 8 ist wirklich das beste Kampfspiel ever geworden, was rein das Gameplay betrifft. Es spielt sich herausragend und es ist responsiv, sehr geringer Input Lag.
Tekken 8 sieht auch wie ein Next Gen Titel aus, mit der Grafikqualität, Charakteren und Effekten.
Für jeden Fight Game Fan eine Kaufempfehlung.

Tekken 8 blows fresh air into the ultra-popular series that was slacking behind the competition in recent years, delivering one of the best fighting experiences of this generation and maybe ever.
It’s honestly a testament to how much fun the developers packed into the narrative experience. The game manages to entertain and poke fun at itself in equal measure, resulting in a terrific time for series vets and a solid introduction to the gameplay for newcomers.
Tekken 8 is a modern fighting game masterclass. It doesn't skimp on single-player modes, its online offering is robust, and it's a serious visual spectacle. But most importantly, the battles are brilliant; accessible yet deeply technical, and supremely satisfying to be a part of — perhaps more so than ever before. There's no fighting game series quite like Tekken, and Tekken 8 is the franchise at its bombastic best.
As a complete package, Tekken 8 doesn’t reach the heights of recent rivals like Street Fighter 6 and Mortal Kombat 1. But when the match begins, and you’re exploiting openings to unleash flashy combo strings and air juggles, it remains a thrilling, if very familiar, one-on-one experience. The latest King of Iron Fist tournament still has work to do to feel wholly satisfying or ground-breaking, but it remains a fun arena to test your mettle against friends and rivals.
Tekken 8 is the definition of everything that is good about Bandai Namco's fighting game. It is dynamic with a technical section worthy of this generation and has entertaining game modes such as Heat Mode. It has a decent roster of characters with new additions that fit the formula very well.
Adorei tudo no jogo. On-line perfeito! Combate ainda melhor do que o do 7 que eu já adorava. Bons modos off-line e são de longa duração. Jogo lindo e roda impecavelmente. O único detalhe é que eu gostaria de mais cosméticos para comprar com a moeda do jogo artes.
Um jogo que não cometeu erro nenhum. Tudo funciona, jogo chegou completo e é extremamente divertido. Inclusive é bem acessível para quem não esta acostumado à jogos de luta. acho que ja é um dos meus jogos favoritos da vida. Recomendadíssimo e recomendo para qualquer tipo de jogador interessado na franquia.

Graphics really took a great turn, gameplay is awesome. Characters looks proportionally better than tekken 7. Story wise is a bit cheesy but still great overall. My only wish now is they add lucky chloe and tifa to the game. Edit: After seeing there are battle passes in a game like this and i even bought the ultimate edition which is $140 plus digitally. Nah harada you really drop the ball, i am dropping my review scores for this game. This is the time to be generous to your playerbase as well not to nickel and dime every single one of them so i guess you will have to reflect on your point of view and mistakes.

Game has genuine issues like cheaters, rage quitters, a flawed ranked system, lobbies that don't function properly, and crashes that still haven't been addressed but Namco seems more interested in adding a costume shop that doesn't allow you to buy what you want without paying more than you need, and a battlepass with low-effort recycled items in a game that already costs $70 and sells you a yearly character pass for $40. Characters with such a huge effect on gameplay should not be put behind a paywall, especially when the game is being aggressively monetized in other ways. Even decent free to play games avoid being as blatantly pay to win as this game is right now, and it's only going to get worse as more characters get added to the game without the ability to even practice against them or use the replay takeover feature unless you pay **** actual gameplay is fun and there's a lot to like about the game but the scummy post-launch monetization paired with the other existing issues makes the game hard to recommend, as much as I love it.

I've been a long time fan of Tekken for 20+ years now, but this last one has sorely disappointed me. The business practices of Bandai Namco are truly a spit in the face of loyal customers that have already paid $70 USD for a game. Cramming in microtransactions and a battle pass is unacceptable. Their rollout of Eddy's DLC has been horribly mismanaged. Not only is he $10, but you can't even practice in replays if you don't own him.
Steer clear of this title until these problems are remedied, which they likely won't be.
