The touchscreen controls may seem like a lot to take in at first, but their precision and accuracy make simple shots a breeze and the more complicated trick shots even more fun. It's not a perfect game, but when you get both the Vita and PS3 games for one price? You can't knock the hustle, baby.

A solid and enjoyable game to waste a few hours on, though it lacks any real draw to keep you going for a long time. [Issue#216, p.84]

Hustle Kings's appeal is very limited for those looking for a billiards game, but it is an addictive game very well adapted for the PSVITA. Its single player modes may lack some depth, but its multiplayer options compensate for them.

Surprisingly polished and great value for money. Touch controls work rather well, too. [April 2012, p78]

It may not be the flashiest Vita title, but Hustle Kings is a perfect fix for armchair billiards enthusiasts. [May 2012, p.77]

Hustle Kings is open to everybody, from experienced players to pool paupers – just as long as you're willing to listen to its suggestions and learn how to curve a ball.

Great for the avid pool player, but probably not for the rest of us.

Honestly, Hustle Kings is almost the perfect handheld game. It's deep and engaging, without being so engrossing you'll hate yourself for having to turn it off quickly. The music is fantastic and even if you think you'll never play pool, you might be inspired to after this game.

While others might give it a miss, physics majors and pool sharks will definitely get a kick out of this game. And, at a price of $15.50 (and a download size of just 400MB), it certainly won't break the bank for a few hours of solid gameplay either.

A great virtual recreation of pool that eases beginners in smoothly and offers up a feature-rich multiplayer mode for the experts.

A great pool sim and game all-around, with more modes than you can shake a pool cue at. The supreme amounts of polish the game and the menu have make it a nearly flawless experience. Throw in online and even Cross-Platform Play, and Hustle Kings is a seriously packed game for the price.

Hustle Kings is a safe purchase for those who'd like a bar sport on the go. The experience isn't spotless, but the large amount of options and modes are greatly executed.

Luckily the gentlemen over at VooFoo Studios did their jobs quite well and provided this PS3 port with impeccable touch controls. Aiming, thrusting and adjusting the camera can be done perfectly with just one finger. [April 2012, p.100]

Less trashtalking and more hustling would have been nice, but this is definitely the best handheld pool game out there.

A believable virtual version of the original sport that should keep you entertained for a decent amount of hours.

It's hard to deny the value of buying a pool game on Vita and getting its PlayStation 3 counterpart as an added bonus. And graphically, Hustle Kings looks really nice. So despite the odd musical choices, spooky floating cue, bad connectivity, and annoying precision camera, Hustle Kings is still a good game.

No doubt a niche offering, but it does what it sets out to do really well and is perfectly suited to on-the-go gaming sessions.

It lends itself perfectly to the kind of gaming which is most popular on handhelds - short bursts of easily accessible gameplay with uncomplicated controls. The multiplayer systems are great and Cross Play works wonderfully...It's a shame that the additional game modes, which arrived as DLC on the PS3 version, aren't in there from the start but this is affordable enough that optional DLC isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Hustle Kings' controls are a little too sensitive, though the touch controls are nice. Playing pool in real life is much more fun however, as this game lacks atmosphere.

Best billiards game I have ever played. They must of added button and stick control and now is a lot of fun. The demo was touch screen onlyBest billiards game I have ever played. They must of added button and stick control and now is a lot of fun. The demo was touch screen only and it was terrible. The basic game is a lot of fun with 9 or 8 ball. Trick shots are NOT fun. Really need pin point precision and a lot of luck even on the earlier trick shots. Weirdly there are quite a few online trophies and online is dead. Other than that the game is worth the cheap price and will keep you occupied for hours. Full Review »
