The best LEGO title on the Vita, and a fabulous recreation for the returning entry to the Star Wars series. Warner Bros. and TT Fusion won't be needing mind tricks to convince you to buy this.

I played some of the older games on a friends console but that's about it.

PROS: So far I am 1/2 way through and am thrilled to complete the game. I might go as far as platinuming it. The fluidity of puzzles and combat is intriguing and the game keeps surprising me. It makes a great homage to the film and uses the film's dialogue in smart ways without seemingly being a clone of the movie. The mechanics and gameplay play very fluidly on the vita and I often forget I am playing a handheld game.

CONS: This isn't to say that it doesn't have some flaws. Some of the puzzles can use a bit of explaining but once I figured them out it wasn't a problem. Since this is a port, I can tell it is a lesser experience and have experienced a couple bugs (very minor not game breaking). Most of this is to be expected with any game.

Flaws aside, Lego: The Force Awakens is a rejuvenating experience for my vita. Between the roundabout storytelling, mini-games, wealth of characters, and humor only Lego can pull off I am happy to say that this was a smart purchase. I hope to all the gods that publishers continue supporting the vita. Vita island may be lonesome, but I can tell that despite Sony, the platform is growing.

Like the more recent Lego games, this one features voice clips from the movie. But there are some original clips as well. The gameplay is more or less the same as the other Lego games, with a few new features here and there. The graphics are basically like PS2 graphics. Which looks good for a portable system, but they could've been a little bit nicer looking. This is a bit of a downgrade from the console version, but that's understandable. This is good if you're looking for a Lego game to play on the go. Expand
