MonsterBag is a charming experience that doesn't last long, but we think everyone should at least give it a try, particularly if they get it with the PS Plus subscription.

MonsterBag‘s art style, presentation, and soundtrack are commendable. Its weird and eccentric world drew me in to the point where I attentively watched all of the un-skippable cut-scenes out of curiosity.

This puzzle platformer starts great, then looses some of its momentum along the way. It's still a small, curious project, and it might be really worth a try.

Monsterbag is an interesting experiment with a really nice presentation, superb art and adequate music. Unfortunately, we cannot say the same about the gameplay. Despite the creativity in some puzzles it feels repetitive, confusing and short. IguanaBee has a lot of potential, maybe in future games we will be greatly surprised.

The high level of creativity on display in MonsterBag’s humour, art style and character is commendable. Sadly, the game is on the short side and offers little replay value to back it up.

MonsterBag is a nice bit of light puzzles and charming slapstick, at least until the narrative drives it towards something more serious and mechanical that ups complexity and challenge, but almost feels like a different, less personable game.

As it stands, Monster Bag is an amazing cartoon if you can painstakingly make your way through the lesser parts.

I can't really explain the story, because we just following little girl as a monster... yeah, that's not creepy at all. Anyway, I'm not gonna suggest bying it, but if you have PS PLUS, give it a try. This little review is for my first impressions:I am surprised, i tried this game last night and i liked a lot.
The graphics and animations are smooth and cute, but cute not means this game is for children. The T classification probably is because is a little gory in certain scenarios.
The game-play is simple, but original. The first seconds i didn't understand what to do, and the game explained me what to do. that was enough for pass a lot of levels. Timing is the key.
Is weird game, but original, cute, gory, and the most important thing: fun.
I am waiting for this night for play again.

The graphics use an art style similar to the animated shows you would find on Cartoon Network. Despite it's initially harmless presentation it doesn't take long to notice how graphic it's sense of humor can be. On Monsterbag's quest to be reunited with his little girl many people are going to die in surprisingly gory ways.

The story itself is kind of confusing. Things only get crazier as it goes on and the whole thing begins to make no sense. Is this all a figment of the little girls imagination? Or are there parallel universes involved? It's a game that's going to leave gamers who care about what happened with many theories. Despite the confusion as to what actually happens it is a game that can tug at your heartstrings with some emotional moments near the end.

The gameplay itself is fun and puzzle centric. It's actually a pretty unique experience. There's a bit of stealth mixed into it that will require you to memorize enemy patterns or even change them. The game's goofy sense of charm and humor often figures into the solutions. It's stays very fun throughout, although some of the last few levels can be tedious.

The only real issue the game has is with it's length. It will only take you a few hours (2-3 to be precise) to make it through the game's 19 levels and there isn't much of a reason to come back outside of collecting trophies and going through it all again on "Oblains mode," which basically just ups the difficulty.

While it won't last you long and really just ends up being a one and done type of scenario, the game's charm certainly still makes it worth a playthrough. It's a unique experience that sucks you in with it's graphics and quirky (albeit violent) sense of humor. It's one of the more memorable games I've played in a while.

    This is a solid 6.
Monsterbag is a small puzzle game with heart and fun comedic moments. The game is not long nor does it have much replay value except if you want those trophies, but even then it flies by. considering this game was free for Ps+, the length and value of this game does not affect the scoring. (i would have rated it 5 if it came with a 10 dollar price)
overall, its a fun little game and is just meant to be enjoyable.
