But NekoBuro – Catsblock not only makes the most of its incredible adorableness, it also provides a fun (if short) gaming experience to boot.
Adding a creative spin to the done-to-death Match-3 puzzle genre, NekoBuro: CatsBlock is a fun, addictive and down right adorable puzzler bursting with colour and charm.
It takes the more addictive elements from popular puzzle franchises and combines them with finesse.
An exceptionally cute match-three puzzler whose completely off-the-wall (and comedically mis-translated) Story Mode packs a fun challenge that'll keep you entertained for a good few hours.
I can think of a handful of better puzzle games on the PSN, but if you’ve got a soft spot for cats or poorly translated Japanese games, you may want to give this one a go.
The best thing about Nekoburo: Cats Block is the art style; everything is bright, colorful and super adorable, but take that away and you're left with a generic, poorly translated puzzle game with a tilted playing field that doesn't compliment gameplay.
