If you're willing to go at it again and again with Orgarhythm, you'll find that it's a pretty rewarding experience, and you'll have a ton of fun in the process.

Orgarhythm does a great job of blending two genres together in a perfect celebration of music and strategy.

If you own a Vita then you know the list of games is pretty low right now and Orgarhythm is a unique experience that anyone with a Vita should be willing to check out.

When the elements of Orgarhythm come together, it's transcendent-raging music fills the ears, the tapping gives a tangible connection to what's happening onscreen, and watching the multi-colored army dominate the opposition is a singular experience. That said, the small amount of content, low production qualities and general lack of polish make Orgarhythm come off more like a proof-of-concept demo. I absolutely love what it does when it pops, but there's more work to be done here.

On one hand it’s a wonderful conceptual take on rhythm action, blending in elements of RTS and score attack along with a thumping soundtrack. Its problem is that on the other hand it’s a flawed delivery, a game where the overriding artistic concept and desire to produce something different has resulted in a game that far too often isn’t actually fun to play.

It's messy, and it gets repetitive too. For some, it'll just be headache-inducing. But for those who yearn for quirkiness, this could become a cult hit. [Issue#229, p.82]

At its best, Orgarhythm's disparate ingredients coalesce into scenes of thrilling tribal warfare, a winningly eclectic soundtrack stirring your men to march into battle. Too often, however, you end up feeling like your fragmented cabal: disorientated, frustrated and battered into submission by an unforgiving enemy, with little reason to keep on fighting.

This is a really competent game. The gameplay is innovative, the soundtrack is great (Holy Oratorio Stage is awesome), and its veryThis is a really competent game. The gameplay is innovative, the soundtrack is great (Holy Oratorio Stage is awesome), and its very challenging, with online leaderboards to increase the competition. The game flaws are the weak graphics, the ad hoc only multiplayer (HUGE bummer, I might never find someone to play it) and somewhat expensive. Also its the only game with some sort of RTS on the Vita so far, so thumbs up for that. Must buy for fans of rhythm games and fans of japanese games as well. Expand
