There’s a narrative that not only follows on from one of the finest stories ever written (and I'm not just talking in terms of video games) but succeeds in actually enhancing it. The soundtrack is absolutely incredible and does some amazing things in remixing music that was already peerless.
As one of the better and more charming rhythm action games to come out in recent years, Persona 4: Dancing All Night is not only an apt and engrossing spin-off, but it’s an effective side story that will help pass the time while we impatiently wait for Persona 5.

This is the best Persona spin off, no doubt, the game is very addictive and has amazing music, note charts and a very good story, this game has many things to entice you to continue playing
In this game there are cosmetics to unlock with money that you get from completing songs and if you unlock every cosmetic you unlock a new difficulty called “All Night” which makes every incredibly hard, which normally it would make the game not very fun to play, but this mode is just addictive, a full clear in this game is called a “King Crazy” (which you get without missing a note or scratch and not getting a “Good” rating on any notes) and if you get into the game enough you will want to get it on every song on the “All Night” difficulty.
DLC songs such as “True Story” and “The Fog” enhance on the “All Night” difficulty and makes the game very hard to even get past 1/3 of the song, but, like I said before you still want get a “King Crazy” on these songs. The story is also amazing, it is after the events of Persona 4 Golden’s true ending. The main character this games story follows is “Kanami **** which is a minor character brought up in Rise’s Social Link in Persona 4 and Persona 4 Golden and a side character “Minoru Inoue” which played a major role is Rise’s social link. This games story is definitely a must play for Persona fans that want to know what is happening with the Persona 4 crew after the time skip in Persona 4 Golden.
This is definitely an amazing rhythm game for Persona fans and rhythm game fans alike. It is definitely a must play on the PS Vita and PS4.

P4: DAN is fun and addictive, even though it lacks some content. If you like the main series and you're ok with the genre chosen for this spin-off, we're sure you'll enjoy it.
Like Theatrhythm Final Fantasy, this is a game that is simplistic in concept but catered heavily toward fans of the series. Yet unlike Theatrhythm’s serviceable-yet-sterile insert of characters and compositions, Dancing All Night goes the extra mile to ensure that Persona 4’s beloved cast bring their A-game to this endearing love letter in addition to its plethora of toe-tapping remixes.
Persona 4: Dancing All Night is an easy, funny rhythm game. A saga lack of knowledge is not a big problem, but in that case, you lose a lot in terms of appeal.
Atlus has got themselves one hell of a spinoff.
Dancing All Night might have sounded like a fun idea on paper, but it simply doesn’t hold a candle to better portable rhythm games.
I love this game soo much! Persona 4 Series really has changed my life, and I feel very grateful for that.

Persona 4: Dancing All Night is a fun entry to the series with surprisingly-excellent story and amazing soundtrack. After purchasing the game as a spare-of-the-moment decision and going in with very low expectations, I was pleasantly surprised at just how engaging the game was. With a large amount of content (as well as a plethora of cheap DLC for particularly avid fans), this title never fails to offer light entertainment as a "side game" for a couple of hours of relaxation inbetween longer gaming sessions of the latest PS4 AAA title.
Highly recommended for all Vita owners or fans of the Persona series.

Persona 4 Dancing is a weird game.
That doesn't mean it's bad though. The songs are pretty good, most of them being remixes from Persona 4 and Persona 4 Golden. The songs are generally easy enough for people who aren't used to rhythm games to beat them. However, I missed a bit of difficulty on the story mode. For someone who's never played this type of rhythm games before, I never experienced any difficulty throughout the game, getting at least a Brilliant! in all songs. But this is fixed in Free Dance with the Hard and All Night difficulties.
The story was a good spinoff of P4G's storyline, featuring the lovely cast that the original game has. The new characters are fine. Nothing too special, they just didn't get enough character development (aside from Kanami). I like the idea of dancing being used to transmit the character's emotions. However, I feel like the story was lacking that "Persona" style. Being a visual novel with fixed dances in between didn't help it either. But it was still a decent and short story that can be completed in 1-2 days easily.
The game's got a lot, and I mean A LOT of microtransactions, but thankfully most of them are just costumes for your characters. There are 3 DLC songs featuring 3 characters that don't appear in P4D's story, but you won't be missing anything if you don't play them.
In conclusion, Persona 4: Dancing all Night is a good idea of a spinoff and a great introduction to rhythm games, but lacks story/character development, difficulty for the more experienced players and the things that make Persona a unique series, such as Social Links.

The narrative is on par with what you would expect from a Persona 4 spin-off. It mixes Persona's plot and universe with the gameplay of games like Hatsune Miku.
Fun and fast-paced rhythmic gameplay with some customization and items to unlock. The story is also solid to boot so it's worth playing for both fans and newcomers to the series. But obviously more recommended playing after Persona 4.
While the narrative is not as great as Persona 4 Golden (as expected from a spin-off) and the gameplay is also not quite as challenging as Hatsune Miku's it still manages to be a very fun and worthwhile game on itself. The story gets a bit repetitive but it hopefully does not drag out. Good game, definitely won't disappoint fans of the original P4.

The music is the music from P4 with some additions, so of course this part would be the strongest.

The graphics are flashy with HD models of the characters.

Not amazing, but passable. This game does, however, rely on a lot of knowledge of Japanese idol culture which will not be understood well by many English speaking players.
Characters: 1
While not super well developed, the new girls are fun and they do try to make sure their is variety to them.
