Games should sometimes only be judged by the fact of weather they're fun or not. Well, lads, Reality Fighters is fun. It has a simplistic gameplay but it's just fun so enjoy the ride.
  2. Crazy fighting wherever you like, personalised contestants and a knowing sense of humour make this far more fun than catching a fly with chopsticks.

I think the biggest problem with Reality Fighters is that your fighter, especially with your superimposed face doesn't look right. That and the background environments look a little plain, even the augmented reality ones of your real environment. It just doesn't look right. Fortunately there is enough options as a fighting game to keep you investing some time into it but compared to the more professional fighters out there, I would definitely try before you buy.

As a proof of concept, Reality Fighters is convincing, but it's sub-par as a high-priced fighting game, trailing the competition and offering novelty in place of substance.

With a flashy but limited move list, it's nothing more than a basic arcade scrapper. [June 2012, p.83]

It's a product that does nothing bad but doesn't do anything good either.

Reality Fighters is nothing more than a tech demo for PS Vita's augmented reality capabilities. As a game it offers insipid gameplay, poor customization, some bugs and no interest. Forget it.

I give it this rate also for the story, for me is a little stupid but i laughed a little. Expand

The user score for this game is way to low.
The fact is, this game is fun, funny, creative, has a lot of customization and you can get it in amazon for a cheap price.
However, the scenarios are plain and boring (Which is a shame because the pictures and locations are gorgeous), the female model is really ugly, the graphics look slighty below average at best, the optional touch controls are overpowered and there are simply some plain weird design choices that seem made by an amateur.

To make it short: This is an average games. It does some stuff right and some stuff wrong and the rest gets in the middle. If you want to try a spanniard game out of curiosity or just like the concept, you can still get it, but don't expect something out of this world.

PS: Some jerk decided that the platinum trophy should require you to have 5 friends with the game (I've heard you can get it with only one friend, but I haven't tryed yet)

This game sounds so cool, but don't be fooled.

The Pros: Customizing your characters is very fun, there is alot of different things you can put on your character which also changes how strong their attack, defense, speed, and stuff like that.
The fighting styles are also memorable, and flashy.

The Cons: Your characters fighting styles are choosen from the other in game characters, you dont get to make your own (This sadly common in alot of character creator fighting games).
The actual fighting is not that fun, and gets boring quick.
The create your own stage with ps vita camera gimmick is not that good, and doesn't always put the fighters where you want them.

And The Mediocre: The controls work, but there not great.
    The visuals are nothing special.
The in game characters are interesting, but nothing real special.

This game is simply not fun, and you should not waste your money on this.

It served to show some of the new features of the VITA and the power of AR but nothing else. Apart from that, it was a crappy fighting game that could work for a laugh or two but there are much much better options on the system. The face caption feature also sucked and that was supposed to be the core of the game. If you want a competent AR game, go with Invizimals. Expand
