    Valkyrie Drive is an incredibly fun and addictive game. While it doesn’t have the same crazy narrative or visual flair as a Devil May Cry or Bayonetta, it certainly shares their vibrant and satisfying combat.

    Valkyrie Drive Bhikkuni is an interesting alternative to “Senran Kagura” titles for the PlayStation Vita. Its battle system makes a step forward to a stylish and addicting gameplay which added to its additional game modes and contents makes it a complete title, leaving the fan service aside.

    A very Japanese brawler with lashings of fan service which will either draw people to the game or put them off. Get past the lewdness though and there is a decent game to uncover with enjoyable combat and a compelling anime story.

    Valkyrie Drive: Bhikkhuni reminds me a lot of Senran Kagura Burst in that it feels like a rough draft of greater things to come. The combat is there, and the game looks amazing, but with an overabundance of uninteresting plot and a lack of original or compelling personalities, I found myself skipping over more of the game than I should have in order to keep myself entertained.

    Being from the same producer is not surprise that there are many similarities between Senran Kagura and Valkyrie Drive. But while SK leansBeing from the same producer is not surprise that there are many similarities between Senran Kagura and Valkyrie Drive. But while SK leans more into the musou genre, Valkyrie Drive opts for a bigger emphasis on the hack&slash experience. While its roster is significantly smaller than SK this allowed Meteorise to properly flesh out and develop every character to depths currently lacking on its sister series. This coupled with the Phantom mechanics, delivers a very entertaining combat system that rewards the player for learning all of its intricacies and using them at its full potential.

    Luckily the game also offers different extra modes-like survival and challenge modes- to allow the players to test their mastery of the game system, expanding its lifetime.

    The game's writing while not a masterpiece, it has enough interesting twists to be engaging enough to keep the player interested through the 20~30 hours story campaign.

    The only reasons I won't give the game is a perfect score is because there are still some room for improvement. The game's difficulty is pretty easy for the most part and for a game where customization of your character is one of its selling points, the costume selection is pretty lacking.    … Expand

    Valkyrie Drive is very good action game that fits PS VITA perfectly. Visually the game looks great... nice art, hot girls, it is just cool. VD has really amazing combat system, fights are smooth and combat is very enjoyable. There are several game modes for fans of action games and linear story mode. The setting of whole game may be a bit crazy, but the story is quite interesting (especially in its 2nd part) and the game is just going to keep you in! Unfortunately there are also several flaws. There are couple of graphic bugs and from time to time you may see even some npc bugs. These issues are not too worrisome, but they are definitely noticeable. Valkyrie Drive is very good game which is recommended for fans of anime but even for people who does not know anime (honestly the game story is better than anime). This is definitely one of the better games for PS VITA!
